Getting clue

"Okay, mother," Ria gambled as his mother insisted where he knew that Rose would be hearing their conversation. He knew that he could never convince her to let them go to the library she suggested. That is what one got when they had a stubborn but lovely mother. He always loves his mother's decision. She was always right.

"Now, get started. You said it was urgent," his mother said as she folded her arm. 

"Can I sit?" he demanded and his mother didn't even say anything or act as if she heard. He knew what her silence meant. She wanted him to do something for her desperately. But he was curious to break the news of his finding to her that he had to wave off any usual behavior from her.
