But at the last battle before they chose to suppress him, if not for the elf King sacrifing his lifespan and the paramount beast destroying half of the forest to stall him, they might have not even be able to escape with their lives, that was the biggest embarrassment in the lives of the three leaders, they literally ran with their tails between their legs, even they had to acknowledge just how much of a talented freak he was, of course people had thought about what would happened if he breaks his seal and gets more powerful, but the leaders reply were'Atleast we can have a few years of rest and hope the next generation nurtures a character strong enough to face him(not defeat, merely face),but of course they wouldn't tell the younger generation this, they portrayed the three leaders as supremely strong individuals who beat the shit out of midas then sealed in the demon suppressing tower because of his crazy life force and as a warning to the younger generation to never get lazy and always keep training so that they don't get invaded and defeated one day, only the older generation knew what a load of bullshit that was. But then it worked well,because the amount of powerful fighters nova has now was incomparable to the past.

But the older generation knew that, to a monster like midas, numbers were as good as useless

It was a well known fact within the older generation that without midas, the three races would have exterminated the demon invaders, but midas was just too much of a freak, he faced almost all the upper echelons of the three races alone and when he killed almost half of them,apart from the three leaders, no one dared to fight him.

Meanwhile, Prince gorwin was already making his move, he had noticed the way those old nobles were looking at this man like they had seen their worst nightmare and he even saw his father almost fall from his throne, it didn't take a genius to figure out the identity of this person.

But instead of being afraid, he was excited, yes excited, from little he had been praised to no end,by the elders, the citizens and even the nobles and that had made the normally arrogant elf more arrogant as hell.

He believed, no matter how powerful this demon was, he had been sealed for 5000 years, so where was no way he was as strong as he was in the past right, but that didn't mean he underestimated him he used his killing move from the start, he was arrogant not stupid.

But still he couldn't help but think, if I defeat the demon whom the leaders couldn't kill, then would that make me comparable to the three leaders, but what he didn't know was that even the three leaders of that time always lamented their bad luck of ruling when midas invaded.

The move gorwin was taking out on midas was called void thunder reincarnation slash, this was one of the most powerful sword slash in the elven kingdom,gorwin was one of the few elves to have mastered this move.
