Day 51: We have arrived at our next destination, and well, It's a Tundra. I would now like to add I take back anything bad I said about the desert. In comparison, it was like a tropical paradise (the desert part specifically but the oasis even more so). The cold has been pretty annoying and I was practically going snow blind until Claire remembered to give me a pair of sunglasses she got earlier. Though in the downtime after setting up camp and cooking our meals I have been training my Hatsu some more. I have opted not to add more yet and instead get my control back to the way it was before adding it. I predict that i'll move on to the next step though.

Day 54: So I was browsing the internet on my phone, AMAZING I tell you. Apparently, there is a paper view over at heavens arena fights which was interesting. Too bad for them I pirated the whole thing off a streaming website. Regardless, I found out Gon and Killua made their way to heaven arena. They are in the mid 100's, not having made it to 200 where all the Nen users stay. Also an update on my Hatsu, there are a couple of things I want to add but I decided on making it functional in a fight as soon as possible. Claire said that once I got it to that point she would start to help me figure out my combat style. (though I am pretty sure that is just an excuse to hit me more…)

Day 58: It is somehow getting colder up here, how that is possible? I have no clue, to be honest. Though I have to admit the scenery from so high up in the mountains is unparalleled. As of late, I have not been able to make much progress, just busy is all.

Day 59: we arrived at our destination, it's a snowy plateau dotted with some sort of evergreen trees. Those things must be quite stubborn to grow up on a mountain, it's mostly rock and there is no soil up here. I have also started to learn some of the advanced techniques, mostly Gyo and En for now. I have been having a blast finally being able to sense and subsequently spot the wild animals around here. It also means I can eat meat again as Claire is too lazy to help with anything regarding meal preparation.

Day 65: it has been over two months now, and I am starting to get a grasp on the timeline of when this will all be wrapping up. To clarify, I am finally starting to see some ads and talk about the Yorknew auction. I mean, I know every one of my friends was going to be there but I had no real sense of how far away that was.

Day 66: I have not written about my Hatsu recently, it was mostly due to me focusing on writing or recollecting other things. For instance, Claire recently had me train Shu by reinforcing a weak thread and going ice fishing using a makeshift fishing pole. A lot of these training exercises have been a lot more interesting to write about due to how well integrated they are into my day-to-day schedule. But, I am happy to write that I have finished up creating my Hatsu. I am thinking of writing a more in depth description later, as it may allow me to spot any issues with it I hadn't previously noticed.

Hatsu description: for my Hatsu, I decided to build it slowly in stages, I have an end goal in mind but I am currently too weak to even dream of creating it from the get-go. I suppose I will create various stages of my Hatsu, maybe even add in a condition that I can freely switch between them? Not a bad idea if I formulate it properly…

Anyways, my Hatsu is '20th-century boy,' It works by creating a pinkish aura that has a 'flow' to it. (similar to wood grain if that makes sense) I can freely mold it into any shape as long as I have the proficiency and focus to do so. Currently, I cannot separate the aura from my body, though I have been considering making it a condition for a while now.

When I am satisfied with the aura construct's form I 'harden' it, locking it into that form. When locked up it can no longer be manipulated or moved unless I myself move. (think of it like a cast, If I cover my whole body I would be unable to walk or move about. However, someone could pick me up and move me around in that state) Another thing to note is that the hardening provides no physical defense, it is not even tangible unless someone uses aura to interact with it.

The main ability though is the conductive ability of the hardening. The aura can conduct/manipulate the energy from physical or Nen attacks along the 'flow' of the construct. This allows me, the user, to tank hits or redirect the force of enemies' attacks back at them, sometimes even concentrating the force into a smaller point for a more destructive blow.

However with such an ability, I had to make some sacrifices, a few conditions must be met. A basic little condition I put was I must announce the name of my Hatsu when I begin using it. Besides that, the only thing I have done was give the aura a variable conductivity with the aura cost increasing/decreasing depending on how conductive the Hatsu is.

Soon I too will be able to spew monologues with the sheer charisma of a certain fictitious senator while shrugging off attacks like they are nothing. (hopefully)
