Double X Tap

*Bang* *Bang* As I kept descending through the floor the number of attacks increased as the wounds started collecting on my body. I wasn't exactly able to afford making the covering immune to damage as I need to conserve aura for the fight coming soon. Funny enough, I think I saw Gon out of the corner of my eye while falling through a couple of floors…

*Clang* coming to a stop after a few more floors and solidly landing inside a dimly lit room with a slight sound as my aura-clad feet connected with the ground. A lucky thing, as falling over on my side and being unable to move would have been a tight spot to get out of. Tracing my surroundings with my eyes I noted the sprinkling of wax candles placed against the plastered brick wall, allowing for a decent amount of visibility.

"...Magenta?" coming directly from my left was an all too familiar and irritating voice, noting the possible location of our main objective I held my breath as I waited for signs of something else.

"yYo0u…" Growling out, in an unstable tone was a somewhat unrecognizable voice that I could only assume was Nobunaga. Softening the joints around my body turning my Hatsu into a more conventional armor as I regained movement. Quickly pivoting to get a look at my opponent, a grisly sight for sure. Wrapped up in bandages like a mummy, the small patches of exposed skin were covered in burns that were either scabbing or covered with boils. Sitting with his back against the steel door of the room he propped his upper body by using the remains of his sword. A disfigured thing much like its user, the handle and ornamentation that previously decorated the blade were gone leaving only the tang and the mangled blade.

"Me… though I have to say, have we met before you sound familiar?" acknowledging him as I began to slowly pace parallel to the exit, using the small downtime before the inevitable fight to gauge his strength. He was able to put me and Gon on edge even when reduced to this state. And judging by the various explosions echoing throughout the building he was still able to attack Gon in this situation.

However, instead of replying or sending an immediate attack my way he just sat there motionlessly. I would have mistaken it as him dying of anger but the continuous attacks shaking the building dispelled that amusing thought. Taking the opportunity I craned my head to the side while keeping my eyes remaining on him with Gyo to talk to Killua.

"By the way… Gon came to rescue you, you can probably hear him around? So, find the opportunity to get out of here alright?" Eventually, I came to a stop in the middle of the room and turned to fully face my opponent after delivering my message to Killua.

"What about you?" seeming quite plussed about the notion of abandoning me with an enemy he could not fell, walked up behind me with silent steps. Only making his presence known to me with a slight tap on the shoulder.

"Well, I am still pretty upset about the result of our last battle… and myself admittedly after not following the second rule of fighting to the death." flexing the fingers of my working hand I stared into the hollow eye sockets of my opponent that were empty of all emotion for they no longer existed. The longer I looked at him the more he seemed to appear as a corpse or as a reanimated undead.

"... *sigh* how do you want me to get out of here? He is not going to be moving away from that door, or rather he really can't." Seeming to ignore the small quip on my part he questioned me about his method of escape.

"There is a literal hole in the fucking ceiling… If you can't use that then make another for all I care." gesturing towards the small hole in the ceiling I came through I moved to close the distance between myself and Nobunaga. Though as I closed the distance I realized something due to that small question of his.

'Ah, they didn't meet that zipper guy at the local markets because they met up with me that evening…' arriving at a small distance from Nobunaga, we leveled a stare at one another. Or perhaps it was one-sided, but I could have sworn I saw his head crane up a bit.

*CREAK* and within the next instant, I found myself in a clash with him, a large blade that was a torrent of raging color that was created within an instant. In return, I used my Hatsu in combination with a surge in aura to combat the attack. Though, with the huge amount of force behind the attack, I was being pushed back a bit as our two auras clashed. Gritting my teeth I put all my focus into absorbing as much energy as possible, expelling a ridiculous amount of aura as I reduced the impact of the attack. Each second, the speed I was being pushed back began to slow down as the chaotic aura continued to erupt from the point of contact.

*Bang* Seeing that I was nearing the wall, I used a considerable amount of force to redirect the attack while simultaneously dodging to the side. Sending the attack into the wall which exploded on impact sending a plume of dust and rubble into the small room.

*BANG* however, it was nothing compared to the explosion I created after channeling the original power. Enhancing my speed with an application of Ko along with a dispersal of small amounts of energy I shot forward at speeds I have never reached before. Clearing the distance inside the small room within an instant, reaching just before my opponent.

*BOOOOOMMMM!* I then released a Punch containing all of the power I had absorbed since I stepped foot in this building, creating a massive explosion that created a weak vacuum due to the lack of air. Completely leveling the part of the building and many others nearby in the direction of the blow.
