Lucas Havens has lived a good life, but after being broken up by his long-time boyfriend, he decides to run away, wanting his freedom. But after getting lost and wandering into a cave, he is brought back to a time that he never thought would be possible, and there he meets the injured man known as the Black Knight.



Deciding that since he wasn't sure how he was going to get back to his time, he decides to travel with the Black Knight on a quest to defeat this sadistic warlock who is set on destroying the world. It was all supposed to be fun and games, to go on an adventure, but his world is flipped upside down as he realized the Black Knight was much more than he thought the man was, and now, he couldn't help but fall for him.



Will Lucas decide to go back to his own time and leave the Black Knight behind?



Will Lucas be able to love the man they call cold-hearted?



Not everything was as it seems, and he was about to learn the hard way that not everything is a happy ever after.
