At the end of 21 first century, human consciousness became digitalized, and together with an already mature cloning technology death became no longer an inevitable thing. With these two technologies after humanity rose back from the ashes of all-out nuclear WW 3 humanity entered a golden age of scientific development and it didn't take long before a hyperdrive capable of propelling a spaceship to another galaxy in a matter of days was invented. Now it is the 23 century and humanity has already spread far and wide only to encounter a hostile Xeno race who wants to claim humankind's only hope to turn its radiation-polluted planet into Edan for themselves.
