Tease or treat?

He was looking like a beast satisfied for having such a smart dinner, but that smirk on his plump light-pink lips haven't scared me at all. I know why he feels like that. He's proud of his choice in me being curious and asking the right questions makes him understand he hasn't made the wrong choice.

Markus chose me after one night we spent together, where I haven't shown my intelligence. Indeed, each of us was showing somewhat another side of his on that night, but he picked me, and not only for being good at bed. His decision to make me his Underboss even knowing women in the mafia aren't that popular proved he chose me not only for being good in bed. He chose me for something else he felt and saw in me, and now, asking the right question, I'm making him proud of his own choice. I can't blame him, and I won't.

A true woman would do everything for her man, to be proud of him.

"Each mafia boss decided on his own what to do in his blood bank to earn money for his family. However, I'm the only one doing research on blood," he grinned at me again, then suddenly pressed me to the wall with my back and put his hands near my head. His lips were a few inches away from mine and I could feel his hot breath. His onyx eyes were shining bright with some dangerous glow. However, it attracted me more than scared me off. I'm not so easily scared, especially what comes about Markus. I'm fascinated by everything he's going or saying.

"However, the main function of the bloody bank stays in its name. They are made to contain blood, and some mafia bosses decided to keep the main function as the only function. Well, who can blame them?" Markus hasn't moved even an inch from me, on the contrary, he moved closer and started caressing my cheek with his finger. While he was talking, his lips almost touched mine, making my blood boil in my veins. I couldn't resist a sudden passion that overtook me from his action, and I felt my own heartbeat fasten, making me breathe faster and my breasts in a seductive for him V-neck neckline to move up and down. Markus suddenly lowered his eyes to my moving breasts, and his gaze fixed there for some time.

"So, you're the only one so unique?" I whispered at his lips as, unless his eyes, his face remained in the same position. For a second, our lips touched each other in a kiss.

"Am I not?" he said, then suddenly grabbed my hands, pressed them to the wall over my head and his hot palms touched mine. At the same time, I felt his knee between my knees, and he pressed it to the wall, making me split my legs to the sides to let him be closer. His body pressed to mine closer, but he hasn't done anything else. He was… slowly studying my reaction, as if he was afraid to insult me because of the recent events with his brother.

What his brother wanted to do with me was pretty clear, but I can't say I suddenly became disgusted with sex because of that. How can I be disgusted with sex, having such a sexy bad boy on my side every second?

"You are, my sexy bad boy," I closed my eyes and opened my mouth, asking him to finally come closer to me and kiss me. Markus suddenly chuckled, making me open my eyes and stare at him with shock.

"Are you ready to do that here?" he whispered at my opened lips, not letting me close my mouth. He caught my lips with him, definitely enjoying being in charge of the situation.

"Was it me who started that?" I asked, feeling my breasts filling with anger for him just teasing me, so I used my force and put his hands down, freeing mine. Markus's smile hasn't moved out of his lips even for a second.

"Are you the only one who is allowed to tease?" he freed my hands from a right grip and pressed his finger to my cheek, stroking it slightly. Every touch of his finger through my body into a tremble. I can't resist enjoying it, even though I want to pout my lips for him just teasing me.

Suddenly, his fingers moved to my chin, and he pulled me closer in one quick move, so our lips met in a hungry kiss. He possesses my mouth quickly, and then his other hand lay on my waist and pressed me tightly to himself. He was kissing me so intensively that I was slowly closing my eyes and throwing my head to the side, but of a sudden, we were interrupted by an opening door just near me. Someone pulled it further, probably not knowing I'm there, but before my head was slapped with the hard kiss, Markus ran away fast, somewhere to the upper floor.

The person downstairs who opened the door probably didn't even understand we were there.

"You have a keen-on hard kissed with doors?" Markus mocked me and pressed me again to the wall, but I noticed something change. The color of the walls on the fifth floor was different. The walls here were of a dark gray color, and the door on the other side of the walls was a metal one. I moved my eyes back to Markus, seeing his onyx eyes looking at me with unhidden interest.

"Metal door? I wonder what do you keep in there?"

Markus hasn't said even a word, just took my wrist with his left hand and led me to the door. I saw him knocking at it, and some red eyes looked at him from a small hole in the door, then the cracking sound filled the room here and there. In a second, a loud noise told us the doors are opened, and we got inside. Markus wasn't going to ease the grip over my wrist, so I understood they keep something dangerous in here.

"Mr. Malone, we have great results!" someone said from the deep, huge room with gray walls and floor. Even the ceiling was gray, it looked like a…

"Jail?" I rolled my eyes from shock.

"No," Markus shook his head negatively, still keeping me behind his back as if protecting, "Here we keep those who got addicted to the human blood and became dangerous. We treat them with the synthetic blood to ease the symptoms and turn them back to the normal life," he explained, then looked at me, "They aren't chained here, so please, stay behind my back."

"Yeah, yeah, they are still dangerous, but not for a vampire, I guess?" the same voice came somewhere from the inside of the room.

"You know exactly who she is; don't play dumb," Markus said in a rude voice, then turned his head to me, "We should keep going to the upper floor."

"My bad, Mr. Malone," the mysterious voice said, then a man with silver hair tied in a high ponytail came closer to us. He stayed at a distance from us, probably being scared of coming closer at a sudden blow of Markus's fire, "I won't harm her, you know that, sir."

"You said you have great results?" Markus asked, looking at a man and still not releasing the fire. It was just burning in our toes, taking us in a protective circle.

"It worked. Soon, we'll have our first well-treated patient," the man said, looking not at a fire but at me. I felt there was something in common between him and me, but honestly, I didn't want to study further, so I squeezed Markus's hand.

"Let's get going," I said and saw him nodding his head.

"Inform me in details in a letter," Markus said, then turned around, quickly grabbed me in his arms by clenching his hands on my waist, and quickly ran out of the room. He put me on my legs only when we reached the sixth floor, where the second bloody bank was. It contained the blood of types B+ and B- as I supposed.

"What's so dangerous in that floor and that mad-looking man?" I asked Markus when he gently kissed my forehead and I felt his hand on my back.

"It's dangerous for you, as all those who are kept there can lose control for now until they fully recover. And that mad-looking man was once among their ranks until we recovered. However, not from a synthetic blood treatment," Markus mysteriously looked at the door leading to the second bank, "Blood of types B+ and B- are kept here, the same as in the first bank. Still wanna see?"

"How did he recover?" I asked, feeling the information is highly important, and shook my head negatively, "Let's get going."

He took my hand and led me upstairs.

"He recovered by fear. Saw how I burned his comrades to ash by killing a group of humans and when his turn came, he swore to stop. Spend in that room for about a year, then was tested and after recovering, agreed to work to help others. However, he's still strange sometimes. Better be safe than sorry," Markus stopped at a door with a white sign on it telling us we reached the seventh floor, the department of blood mixing.

"How many left?" I asked, when Markus put his hand at the handle, "Except two blood banks for two remaining types of blood?"

"That's the last department. Other floors between the blood banks are empty for now," he said, then opened a door and let me in, saying, "They are waiting for their order."

"Order?" I arched an eyebrow, but some idea runs into my mind, making me say it loud, "You mean someone made an order for blood-mixing research?"

"Exactly. One of the biggest and richest Vampire Clans asked me to make such research. Vendor Clan was interested in finding a new type of blood for royalties to enjoy some fresh wine. I agreed as that's a great source of money and power. The more I'm able to produce, the more I'm respected and feared."

"Great thought," I smiled, licking my lips and looking around the room that happened to be a corridor leading to a lot of rooms and medical machines. Markus proposed to me his elbow, and I gently took it, then we went alongside the corridor.

"I think you're a little tired of all these, so let's head straight to the testing room. There we can taste the new types of blood they made. Some are even mixed with wine, everything as royalties wants," Markus said as if he was blaming royalties for being so greedy. And that made me interesting in what he thinks of all of these?

Does he hate royalties?
