The perfect plan

We were sitting in Markus's office, staring at each other and slowly sipping blood. There was nothing inside our heads, except for one thought: "What's next?" We didn't know what to do and when to expect Helena. That's what was triggering a few dozen of our problems: should we ask Valentine to come? Do we need to start preparing for the operation, or it's not a good time? Will we be able to gather the team or there would be someone who will run away? That's a lot of responsibility, and we shouldn't forget that someone won't be ready for that.

I put the empty pack of blood back on the table and moved my eyes at it, trying to focus. I remembered how it was hard for me to drink blood when I was pregnant, and how hard it was to find good blood that both boys would like. Those memories probably will never disappear, they will be present all my life and will warm up my soul when the dark times will come. Like nowadays.
