EP 1; Placing the coffee mug on the glass table, "you know what darling, girls like you who always try to run away from dating and relationships, always end up falling in love at the end." 

Letting out a brittle laughter, "grandma I think you're under the influence of fairy tales. Or did you watch Cinderella cartoons before coming?" 

"Huh? I can't even remember the last time I watched fairy tales movie." 

"Then why are you talking bout dating and relationships? Because I know am not interested in them" 

Raising her eyebrows, granny Mathilda burst into laughter.

Scowling her face, "grandma what's funny? I didn't say something funny" 

Slightly pinching and pulling bianca's cheeks, granny Mathilda chuckled, "yes dear, you just said something funny." 

Frowning confusedly, "how?" 

Taking a deep breath, "first of all, let me tell you something." She sat up properly and faced her. "Do you know that old men and women of my age  still goes into relationship?" 

Widening her eyes and mouth in shock, Bianca threw her hands in her mouth and gasped. "Ahh, you gat to be kidding me grandma" 

Nodding her head, "no darling, am not kidding, am talking legit." 

"But why do they have to go into a relationship when they're old and weak?" Shrugging her shoulders, "weird" 

Flicking her forehead, "oh you haven't heard of old people dating sites?" 

Frowning confusedly, "old people dating sites? No I haven't and why is it?" 

Chuckling, "okay I'll tell you" she whispered and explained. "Every woman needs a life partner, whom will watch over her, protect her and support her till the end of time. So no matter your age or who you are, you still need a partner." 

Sitting up properly, Bianca helplessly shook her head. "But it's not in my gene to date anyone right now, because–" placing her hand on her chest, she gave a doleful look and added, "I don't wanna suffer another heartbreak, please feel my pains" 

Patting the top of her head, she chuckled. "I do feel your pains too dear but heartbreaks are also part of life" 

Widening her eyes and mouth in shock, "huh?" Bianca shouted shockingly.

"Uh huh, if you didn't date someone then how do you experience heartbreaks? Or do you just watch them happen in the movies?"

BREATHLESS [A story that will touch your soul]

"Ahh, what do you expect? It's a free and small world, anything can happen" Isabella handed a glass of wine to her best friend Hannah Nathaniel. 


Taking a sip from the glass of wine, "I wonder how my darling Bianca will look by now. I mean it's thirteen years since I last saw her" 


Sitting on the couch, "Bianca is now a big girl, infact she now makes decisions for herself" 


"She'll be delighted to see you too but she's not at home right now" pausing for a while, she added, "she has taken over the company and it's so rare to see her at home." 


Widening her eyes, Hannah gasped, "is she rare because of her boyfriend?" 


Bursting into laughter, "boyfriend? You mean–" tilting her neck, she scoffed, "like, boyfriend?" Without waiting for her reply, she added, "Hann, Bianca is boyfriendless, please permit me to us that word"


Widening her eyes with a slack-jawed mouth, "what the hell, you mean she doesn't have a boyfriend by now?" 


Taking a deep breath, Isabella sighed, "my dear, what do you expect me to do? I discussed the same topic with her last night and all she says is 'I don't want to suffer heartbreaks'. I've tried my best" 


Taking a sip from her glass of wine, she placed it on the table and frowned, "I understand what she meant by that, am not trying to advise you to put pressure on her but all I know is that when the time comes, she's gonna fall in love with whoever her heart leads her to" 


"But for how long?" Shrugging her shoulders, "She's not even concern, neither is she serious about it. Hannah bianca is not ready for a relationship yet, infact someone can read it in her eyes" 


"Bella remember you said the same thing when we were in college." 


Rolling her eyes, Isabella cupped her cheeks. "Yes I did but it wasn't as mean as bianca's." 


Oh yes Isabella did the same thing when she was still in college, infact hers was more worse than that of bianca's. Isabella suffered several heartbreaks from college guys when she was still in campus. 


But one thing she didn't keep was her virginity. She was so free, friendly and informal towards guys but she wasn't wreckless. Most of the college guys, only dated her for her body. 


And baddest of all was when she was engaged in a set-up. Yes one of her course-mate set her up with one of her ex boyfriend who was trying to play back into her life.


Isabella is the type of woman that falls for things easily. She is softhearted and because of this, guys played mercilessly with her heart and hop out as they like because they knew that the door is still open for them whenever they want to come back. 


After the several disappointments from different boyfriends, she decided to give up and cross her heart never to fall in love again but not until when Edwin came into her life like an angel.
