EP 1; Placing the coffee mug on the glass table, "you know what darling, girls like you who always try to run away from dating and relationships, always end up falling in love at the end." 

Letting out a brittle laughter, "grandma I think you're under the influence of fairy tales. Or did you watch Cinderella cartoons before coming?" 

"Huh? I can't even remember the last time I watched fairy tales movie." 

"Then why are you talking bout dating and relationships? Because I know am not interested in them" 

Raising her eyebrows, granny Mathilda burst into laughter.

Scowling her face, "grandma what's funny? I didn't say something funny" 

Slightly pinching and pulling bianca's cheeks, granny Mathilda chuckled, "yes dear, you just said something funny." 

Frowning confusedly, "how?" 

Taking a deep breath, "first of all, let me tell you something." She sat up properly and faced her. "Do you know that old men and women of my age  still goes into relationship?" 

Widening her eyes and mouth in shock, Bianca threw her hands in her mouth and gasped. "Ahh, you gat to be kidding me grandma" 

Nodding her head, "no darling, am not kidding, am talking legit." 

"But why do they have to go into a relationship when they're old and weak?" Shrugging her shoulders, "weird" 

Flicking her forehead, "oh you haven't heard of old people dating sites?" 

Frowning confusedly, "old people dating sites? No I haven't and why is it?" 

Chuckling, "okay I'll tell you" she whispered and explained. "Every woman needs a life partner, whom will watch over her, protect her and support her till the end of time. So no matter your age or who you are, you still need a partner." 

Sitting up properly, Bianca helplessly shook her head. "But it's not in my gene to date anyone right now, because–" placing her hand on her chest, she gave a doleful look and added, "I don't wanna suffer another heartbreak, please feel my pains" 

Patting the top of her head, she chuckled. "I do feel your pains too dear but heartbreaks are also part of life" 

Widening her eyes and mouth in shock, "huh?" Bianca shouted shockingly.

"Uh huh, if you didn't date someone then how do you experience heartbreaks? Or do you just watch them happen in the movies?"

BREATHLESS [A story that will touch your soul]

"I wish he was still alive, maybe I would have cling on him." Bianca whispered. 


Bursting into laughter, "oh my dear, what would you have done with an old man?" 


"Huh? But he looks young in the photograph, although the picture looks black and white, but it still reveals his handsome appearance." 


Slowly patting bianca's head, "you're right, let me show you more." Flipping over to the next page, "look at this lovely picture" pointing at a young photograph of her and her late husband in their early twenties, busy kissing romantically. 


"Oh my God, this is so romantic! I think my heart is jiggling and my belly has started to giddy." 


"We took this photo, outside the metropolitan museum in new York." 


"Awwwww, damn grandma you look so beautiful and hot when you were a young woman." 


She chuckled and looked at bianca. "Let me brief you a little secret I kept from my sons and daughter In-laws." 


Inching closer, bianca crossed her hands in the front. 


"There was a time, many years ago when I started dating my late husband. We went out for our first romantic dinner date but, something crazy happened."


Scrunching her brows, "something crazy like what?" 


Letting out a little chuckle, she explained. On that night, I was on my period. I never expected it to start occuring that day but maybe the calendar changed. So lucky for me, I brought my sanitary pads along, just incase it happens." Pausing for a while, she continued. "We were at the middle of our romantic session when I felt my abdomen aching and hurting so badly. I tried to resist it and hold back, but there were no use in trying because it kept on twinging my belly. I was uncomfortable but I still forced a smile on my face." 


"And grandpa? Did he noticed anything wrong?" Bianca inquired.


She chuckled softly, "yes dear, he did noticed something wrong." Looking at bianca's curious face and alerted ears, she flicked her forehead. "Do you want to hear the entire story?" 


Vigorously nodding her head, "yes grandma, please brief me the entire story" she beamed. 


Taking a deep breath, she sighed. "Jacob was so quick-witted to noticed my weird behaviors. He asked me  what's wrong, but I kept on pretending like everything was fine. Not until when my abdomen hurts deeper like an injected sore." Bursting into laughter, "I winced in pain and started crying like a baby. And then, Jacob became worried and started to panic. I couldn't bare to see his handsome wanly face, I had no choice but to explain myself out. After telling him what my problem was, he took me to the washroom and helped me change with the sanitary pad." 


Widening her eyes with a slack-jawed mouth, Bianca threw her hands in her mouth and gasped. "Ah, you gat to be kidding me grandma. Are you serious? He wore you the sanitary pad?" Without waiting for her reply, she inquired shockingly. "He saw–"
