In the Mind of CEO Armando's Temptress

"Maya, stop shouting," Amelia said to her daughter, surprised that her calm and controlled Maya was shouting at her.

Maya looked around and then back to her mother, "am I embarrassing you, mom?"

Her mother nodded, and that made Maya even angrier, Amelia was not supposed to nod. Maya wanted her mother to tell her she was not embarrassing her and it was okay for her to voice out whatever she was feeling, after all, that was what she always taught her kids.

Maya was staring at her mother, she couldn't help but think how her mother did the exact opposite of what she always advised them to do. She looked at the front of the ice cream shop and found Brent staring at her, she looked back at her mother and asked her, whispering, "mom, the house and now this?"

"What?" Amelia asked, she didn't hear what Maya have just told her.
