Kiddo, Stop Following Me

{MAYA}

"Higher?"

"Yes, and faster."

"Higher?"

"Yes. Push."

They continued like that, Blake asking the same question, and Maya answered them with a giggly and happy tone. Blake gave out a sigh of bliss. They both wished the moment would last forever.

As Blake pushed Maya higher on the swing, he thought, "this is fun, but it is a matter of seconds before she asks me."

On the other hand, Maya thought, "oh, dad. I am too big for this."

Maya smiled as the swing's velocity reduced, she looked at her father and grinned. She looked around and couldn't help but admire the surrounding. It was a good place; her mother knew how to choose a good place.

There was a problem though, it was the first time Maya looked around for the first time and she felt bad that she hadn't earlier on and thank her mother for not throwing her into a bad home where Maya would feel like she was in a prison.
