Flickering Existence

After the murderous battle, they all released a deep beath; exhaling all the air they should've freed from the whole combat. Lily, with the smallest height, falls to the ground on her knees all of a sudden.

"I feel drained already." She said with an awkward smile, they went towards her and asked what's wrong. Sven offered her a hand, willing to carry her on his back.

"Her existence is flickering." Said Levin, the lightning whip. Everyone was surprised to hear that her existence's threshold is pretty low.

"The maximum limit of one's existence is dependent on the user's physical health on Earth. This girl might be frail back there." The twin needles, Contagion, added. Even with a seemingly limitless physical strength, once a person is low on existence, every use of more existence will make the physical body slowly disintegrate.

"We need to reach the memory crystal immediately!" Sven replied in utter worry. He also explained that they need to avoid making contact with any more entities, which is highly unlikely.

"Don't worry we will protect you." Sven added with assurance, and carried her on his back.

Nikita was curious as to why Sven acts like this. They only know each other for a small amount of time, yet he acts like he knows everyone right from the start. Maybe he's just too friendly, she said to herself.

"He's very thoughtful, isn't he?" Hailstorm asked her, but she just kept silent; keeping her poker face.

"Are you jealous?" Hailstorm kept probing and it made Nikita's composure snap. With an irate heavy breath she answered,

"There's no fucking way I would. Where the hell are your questions coming from? I don't even know him."

On their way to find the memory crystal in survival, Nikita decided to be left quite behind from the group.

"I know you want to talk to me, that's why you separated yourself from the rest." Hailstorm said. Nikita told the sword that she wants to know why and how come these people are here in this dimension too.

"Did they wish to the moon too?" She asked. Hailstorm told her that, that case is the most probable reason as to how they entered this dimension too.

"I am a bit worried. They shouldn't be here in the first place." Hailstorm added, and it made Nikita more confused, so she asked the sword once more.

"What do you mean by that?" Yet Hailstorm didn't answer and left her hanging.

They sighted the memory crystal, in crimson color, a bit smaller than the one they saw in blankness; appears to be enclosed in a web of chains. As soon as they've gone near, the crystal gleamed, and the weight from Sven's back disappeared.

"Where's Lily?" Sue asked as she saw her vanish in a split second.
