Back To The Crystal

"Will the vortex ever close?" Asked Sue, and Spark answered negative.

Now they are trying to go back to the memory crystal in survival to recover all their lost existence before entering another unknown dimension. They can see the creepy iris in the sky is still blind. But it's position is changing just like the sun.

Their arms and legs are aching, their wounds and bruises are sore, the trek back to the crystal took them a lot of time - or maybe days even. They stopped several times on the road to rest.

"Isn't there any other way to travel here? We always walk our way." Sue asked the group seemingly tired of just traveling by foot, and Gravel answered that there are other ways.

"You can find some defiled that are not aggressive like the others. They are mostly in a form of harmless animals. You can use them as means of transportation, but they are rare to find."

Other than that, there are no more other ways. This dimension is seemingly testing their patience. That's why they need to save and use their soul existence carefully.

Nikita is carried by Sven on his back. Supposed to be tired from all the happenings, Sven still manages to carry her weight.

"Please put me down." Nikita whispered, she's finally awake, so Sven hurriedly put her down and ask her how is she feeling. But all Nikita replied was just,

"Thank you for carrying me."

She walked her way back to the memory crystal with this sluggish body. Even if Sven wants to continue to help her out, she doesn't want to.

"Look at this girl. She's unconcious while we were battling Endure to its death, and now she acts like she doesn't need us." Sue insinuated. Jae quickly covers her mouth and asked what is she doing. She Shrugged her shoulders like she didn't say anything wrong.

"Can you hear this girl who just whimpers at the corner when everyone tries their best?" Nikita answered with her poker face and added that if it wasn't for her, they wouldn't know where Endure's core is located.

"How did you know its eyes are the core, by the way?" Sven asked, trying to cut the negative vibes around.

"When it faced us for the first time, I saw its eyes are not just pure fire. The fire is burning from something inside, like a coal that's been lit." She replied.

"His power revolves around flames, so I thought maybe its source is that 'coal'. It was all just a hunch." She added. They were all amazed by her determination to know where Endure's core is located, she even baited herself just to prove a hunch. They realized she let Endure grab her just to take a closer look into its eyes.

"You're insane." Hailstorm said in a worried tone, and the group agreed.

They sighted the crimson red crystal once more and they all recuperated their lost existence. The blessing of the moon goddess coursed throughout their system, their veins feel the power traveling. Now they are ready to go to the next world, Tranquility, that sounds safe and sound. Their stamina went back to being exceptional again so they hurriedly go to the portal's location and let the vortex inhale them.
