Little White

Lei Ming took the wolf cub in his hands and headed out of the forest. His destination was the daiyang town. This town was very prosperous and peak Houtian realm martial artists could be found in this town.

He walked through the forest, his mind was on the Saint grade movement skill he got from the black wolf.

At the entrance of daiyang town, a few guards were standing, collecting entrance fees. When Lei Ming in his shabby clothing walked to the gate, guards stopped him.

One of them looked at him up and down then spoke coldly "If you want to enter the town you must pay one silver if not get the fuck out of here." The rest of the guards laughed.

"Don't be too hasty 'gatekeeper', here take this." Lei Ming didn't get angry the their behaviour, instead, he grinned and when speaking he stressed on the word gatekeeper and take tossed one silver coin at him and entered. The guard who mocked him had his expression darkened by his comment.

Lei Ming didn't care how the guard felt. Sometimes it is necessary to show people their place or else they would become unbearable.

Lei Ming wandered around the streets, searching for the alchemy association. He asked around and quickly found it. He bought a few beast pills for the small cub but he didn't have a lot of money and beast pills have a low success rate in refining and very few people purchase them, making them costly.

He then went to a clothing shop and purchased some new clothes himself. After changing into new clothes which were sky blue in colour, he had a big smile on his face.

He chuckled and took out some of the beast pills he bought yesterday and put one in his palm and extended toward it.

The little cub looked at the pill then his face and ate it. After eating the pill, the little cub had an intoxicated look on its face. Lei Ming found it quite amusing.

Since the day he had to escape from his home, his mood was never good. He would always get angry but as his cultivation was only at the sixth layer body tempering realm, he had to endure. But now with the little cub, he felt a little better.

He looked at the adorable little cub and said "I should give you a name because that black wolf didn't tell me what your name was. And I'm not going to call young master like he did."

"Let's see. How about I call you Little White?" He asked the little cub.

Although beasts aren't as intelligent as humans, it was only true in the case of common beasts.

Special bloodline beasts or the beasts who have cultivated to evolve also get the intelligence and more powers. In normal cases, if a beast and a human cultivator in the same realm fought each other, beast would win. That is because Beasts are innately stronger than humans.

As for this wolf cub, It was from the skyhowl wolf tribe which was one of the strongest tribes among beast tribes, so it was obvious that it also possessed intelligence and could understand him somewhat.

The little cub whimpered with a happy expression, showing that it liked its name.
