Chapter 80

The night before. Baby deliberately read the contents of Hendar and Ferdi's conversation on his husband's cellphone.

"It seems your father is looking for the culprit who killed Vina." Short and concise, but full of great meaning behind the sentence.

Since last night Baby has been thinking about the contents of the message from Ferdi. He even brought it to the dinner table.

"Dear!" Hendar also had to rebuke Baby, who had been only stirring the rice.

"Yes." Baby immediately woke up.

"What's wrong with you this morning, honey? You're not usually daydreaming. Is there something you're thinking about?" said Hendar asked.

"No," said Baby back at her breakfast.

"Nothing I'm thinking of," he added covering his face by looking down.

"What's the matter, my dear? You seem to have something on your mind today? What's bothering you?" continued Hendar's mother who also asked.

"Nothing I'm thinking about."
