Chapter 31

He sat behind his large desk with his hands behind his head, and a small frown etched on his brow as he listened to his second in the command relate the vivid details of the events that took place a few hours ago. The truth was, he wasn't listening to a word they were saying. They were just spouting gibberish.

"We tried to extract the code from him Boss, but you know how headstrong---"

"I know." He said softly. It wasn't too loud but it was enough to shut his second in command up, along with every single living thing that was fifty feet away from him.

He chuckled.

"Where is the girl?" He asked slowly, as he picked up the knife that was lying breathtakingly on his desk and swirled it around his fingers. He had always loved knives. It has saved him one-two may times.

"She should be at her hotel. We have men on their way there now."

"Very good victor, very good. Who dropped her off last night?"
