Recipe For Disaster

My eyes flew open and I immediately shit it due to the light but I opened them again slowly only to find myself in the hospital. I looked at my hand to see if I had any injuries or a drip tube on but I was perfectly fine.

I threw the blanket off me and stood up from the bed, I wasn't alone. I could see some of the team members on their beds but only a few were awake.

"You guys ok?" I asked in general because even guests at the hotel were here and they all nodded except for a woman who was in tears.

The woman looked oddly familiar and when I walked towards her I saw the reason she was crying and my heart dropped.

It was the baby I held, not that she was dead but her body was so badly damaged that she might just end up losing her life.

"She's the strongest baby I've ever met, she's gonna be ok." I gave the woman a slight while wondering where her husband could possibly be in this situation but I doubt if she had one.
