Princess Leia Organa and what remains of the Resistance are onboard the Millennium Falcon. Only a spark of hope remains for the Resistance. But even a small spark can be a raging fire. The First Order secretly grows in strength and number. But the Resistance as more allies than they know. An old war that was never won will wage. Old enemies will stand against each other once again. Meanwhile in the First Order, General Hux went to report Kylo Ren's betrayal to Darth Nihilus and Darth Maul. 


"So it appears that the Confederacy of Independent Systems has returned, General Hux." Said Darth Nihilus. 


"Yes Master, and Kylo Ren has betrayed us. He has sided with them." General Hux replied. 


"You will take his place, General." Darth Maul answered. 


General Hux tried to hold his excitement. "Yes Master." He replied calmly. 


"I won't Master." General Hux promised. "You won't regret your decision." The hologram of Darth Nihilus and Darth Maul disappeared. 


The next day in the new CIS... Poe Dameron smiled as he looked over at Chloe who laid next to him. She snuggled closer to him as she saw that he was awake. 


Chloe nuzzled him then kissed his lips. Poe Dameron smiled before returning the kiss. 


"I suppose we should go see what everyone else is doing." Poe Dameron said ruefully as they pulled apart. Chloe nodded then they both got dressed and went to find their friends. 


They found Ben Solo, Rey Palpatine and Cale sitting together, looking out a window at the stars. 


Ben Solo was trying to make friends with Cale and the other Resistance members, but making friends wasn't exactly his strong suit. 


Rey Palpatine knew that it would take time Ben Solo and her apprentice Cale Lestin to get along, and she decided to sit between them to keep the peace. But they just sat there in awkward silence and Rey wasn't sure how to break it. 


If it was just her and Cale she could have talked about their first adventure together, but that would be a very touchy subject for Ben Solo. And if it was just Ben Solo she could have asked him questions that she needed answered, but he would barely answer when they were alone let alone around others. 


As Poe Dameron and Chloe came up they all heaved a sigh of relief that something had broken the silence. 


"Poe, it's good to see you." Cale said happily. 


"Yeah, we've been sitting here in awkward silence." Ben Solo mumbled. 


"Assessment, it's dinner time, Masters." A strange droid said. 


"That's Hk- 47, he's a hunter killer series assassin droid that belonged to Darth Revan." Chloe explained, straightening her fur. 


"Darth Revan?" Ben Solo asked. "It's amazing that it survived this long, but as my mother says never undermine a droid." 


Poe Dameron nodded a smile, BB-8 had taught him that lesson. 


"Let's eat, I'm starving." Cale Lestin said. 


Rey Palpatine smiled at him and took her hand in his.
