In the palm of my hand, I held a tiny purple sun. Its energy was incredibly intense for its size, and I felt that if I were to touch it, I would disintegrate immediately.


All that I needed to do was to hit Amedis with one blast. One blast is all it would take, and this nightmare would finally be over. I would finally be able to have a normal, supernatural college experience with my boyfriend and close friends. But I knew that it wouldn’t be that easy.


If Alex’s speculation was true and Amedis really was augmenting his powers with the Moonstone, this would be the fight of our lives.
