Chapter 47: We're Only Separated, By War

The Persuader swiftly descended to the surface of Edenfall. The radiation spikes continued to rise and multiply as Mr. Bedlam and his companions drew nearer to Genevieve. The ship landed abruptly, squarely in the center of the Trojan Valley.

Mr. Bedlam stood up from his commander chair and made his way towards the exit of the ship. Officer Coal quickly jumped up to join him, but Mr. Bedlam turned on him immediately, “No, I changed my mind. You stay with the ship.”

Officer Coal opens his mouth to argue but Mr. Bedlam cuts him off, “No. If this is a trap, we may need a quick escape… or I may need you to escape and warn the Empire.”

Officer Coal nods, he’d like to think Mr. Bedlam’s change of heart has something to do with them becoming friends or something, but he doesn’t want to get his hopes up. Mr. Bedlam doesn’t really do “friends”.
