New Mission

Once they finished eating, they visited the guild which gave out identification cards for warriors. In this world, they have different types of levels. In the central, western, and southern parts of the world, they would identify a warrior from Page, Squire, Knight, Paladin, Master, Grandmaster, Saint, and lastly the strongest, Monarch. While those from the east and north used the letters E, D, C, B, A, S, SS, and SSS which was a bit similar to his world.

Since everyone thought he was from the 'central' he was considered a Paladin with his sealed power. Though he thinks it is weak, the people around him didn't think so considering his age. He put 18 years old while applying for an identity card which causes quite a stir. It turns out he was 2 years younger when the Palace Master achieved this rank.

After learning everything about this world with the help of Shin and his group they guided him toward an inn, and he choose a relatively big room. Anyway, he was disguised as a rich young master so he should act the part.

"This place isn't bad, well for an inn that is." Nine-Tailed Fox commented as he looks around the place.

"It would be better to build our own house than stay here. Places like this aren't suitable for training" Black Dragon added as he could hear other people's voices from the outside.

"Well, it can't be helped, we're still new to this place. We can just make a big house later" White tiger said. Black Dragon and white Tiger began talking about what the house should look like.

"do we even have the time for that" Nine-tailed fox intervened.

"hush you guys, why are you making decisions when master hast said anything" Phoenix reprimanded them. This caused the three to stiffen and immediately look at me.

"We apologize for saying something useless master" they chimed in chorus while bowing their heads.

"No need to say sorry. But it is true though that we might not be able to find a suitable place for now. Let us wait for a bit and familiarize the place. For now, let rest." he said.

"yes Master"

Hearing their opinion Seven decided to buy a house after clearing his first task and settling in a place bigger than this. The money he got from selling all the high-level monsters he got was more than enough to have a luxurious villa here. Since he was planning on staying here for 4 years, having a comfortable home was much better, and money isn't a problem for him right now.

When they were finally able to settle into their rooms, Seven sat down and began absorbing the energy in this unknown world to see the difference. He traces out all the energy around him, enabling him to see a projection of his surroundings, he can even clearly hear the people's conversation and the movements of the trees and animals. It was both bizarre and intriguing. He changes the direction of the flow and focus it on his body. An image of his veins was formed in his mind until the perspective changed to his heart, then his brain until he could map out all his body. He could see every little detail the machine they had in his world couldn't penetrate. He continued to do so not knowing how long he have done this.

Time seems to move faster since the moment he open his eyes it was already the next day.

When he went out of his room he saw his familiars waiting for him. He greeted them as they decided their agenda for today.

...

"Roooooarrrrrrrrrrr" the monster howled loudly as it look at the human in front of him. It angrily stumps on the grass living giant footprints on the ground. It didn't expect to meet a human who was capable of slaying his kind that easily. No human had ever slain its brethren before they form their territory here in all these years and the few who dared to fight the monsters were usually killed quickly or even more brutally than what he would have done if there was no one here.

Seven whisk the sword to remove the blood covering the blade. The blood was emitting a strong foul stench, it was disgusting He looked at the monster and he could see the hatred and anger in the monster's eyes. "Don't be sad, you'll join your minions soon since won't allow this atrocity to continue." The monster let out an angry roar once again when he heard his words. It charged at him.

Using his right hand he lifted the sword and tilted them downward just above his waist, twisted his body sideways, and lower knees. His left-hand runs along the sharp blade inputting his powers along the way. The sword was then covered with black energy that resembles Seven's power. When the monster was close enough to reach, Seven swung the swords forward along the monster's mouth, and neck and sliced through it from the back. It was a clean move that when the two separated from each other, the monster took a long time to realize that his body was cut in half. It was about to roar when blood gushed out of his body and the upper part of his body fell, soon following the rest.

"Good riddance.", Seven muttered under his breath, the smell was truly bad that even when he block his senses he could still mentally smell it. When he was finished collecting the corpse, he walked into the forest to find a cleaner spot. While walking he decided to call his four familiars who were also hunting a bit farther away from him via telepathy.

[Well be there soon master] he heard them reply. He walked for a while until he saw the perfect scenic place.

Seeing the raging waterfalls calm down as they hit the water bed, he decided to wait there. As he was waiting, the light of the setting sun fell on him, and it gave him an ethereal glow. While the wind breeze played with his hair and gently caressed his cheeks. The green trees in his surrounding made him look like a forest spirits sky, mysteriously beautiful and enchanting.

Seven raised his head and look at the sky above. It was painted with the hue of cerulean blue, while birds having colorful feathers fly freely. One of them cascaded down to the waterfall leaving a flash of ripple. The waterdrops hitting the ground make it sparkle a beautiful rainbow color. It looked like a painting. If he didn't have his own family like before, he didn't mind staying here forever. He dips his feet on the clear blue waters and relaxes his shoulders. He wonders what is happening in the empire. The fish on his feet swimming around we're colorful.

He smiled at them, enjoying the company of small monster fish. The monster had quite a bit of intelligence but still didn't pose any danger. Maybe if he finds ways to create this kind of passage outside his space he can ask Cross and Maddox if they want to take a vacation here.

At the thought of his parents, Seven took at his sword. He looked and touched the energy around it was strong and cold but didn't put him in any harm.

"So this is how infuser works!" he thought to himself as he happily observed it.

No wonder everyone loved it so much.

He was not expecting that he could use the infuser, it was only when saw someone using a sword like the infuser they invented that he remembered he had his own. He was planning on selling it since he didn't need it anyways. But before parting ways with the sword he tried to see one last time if he could use it and to his surprise, it suddenly worked. He then realizes that ever since he made a breakthrough he hadn't used it so he was late to discover this. Since the restriction on his power was lifted it was only natural for him to be able to use it.

Now that he has it he didn't need to use other weapons since just having this one would suffice. The result was even better than he expected, with this he didn't even need to worry about depleting his energy.

One should know that the material they used for the infuser was a common crystal called Avves that can be found in the empire and has the ability to use an individual's energy as a base to activate it. This type of crystal will replicate the energy using its own spiritual vein. With that, you could almost have an unlimited supply of your energy with only a small cost of your own.

The infuser contains 60% of Avves and this would last until all the energy has been used up which may take hundreds of years. It was truly a good thing that Maddox bought half of all of the mines that produced it, at that time he didn't know it himself why he just had this feeling that something is in there that could help him. Actually, he didn't buy it, it was given to him. He didn't immediately study it because he was preoccupied with other research and later forgot about it.

Before discovering the usage of material it was deemed worthless despite having strong spiritual powers. No one was interested in using the crystal for ornament or jewelry because the moment it was cut and shaped, it would lose its luster and color. It would then disintegrate making the energy dissipate in the air. It has a delicate and complex vein formation making it difficult to extract the energy.

They were only able to discover its uses when Seven was curiously asking why the crystal mine in the 2nd army wasn't excavated. He had accidentally stumbled upon it when he was training and out of boredom he venture inside the mine. It was a beautiful multicolored crystal that he thought girls would surely like it so why was it left here unattended? He touched the crystal and was surprised to know it was like jelly. It was soft but didn't look like it and he thought it was fascinating.

However, something unexpected happen, his mask reacted negatively to the crystal, and the crimson-colored crystal on his forehead turned dull completely losing its vital energy. In turn, the crystal that touches the vermil became firm and shines even brighter. The colors became even more vibrant and only then did he discover how strong the spiritual energy inside was. He had tried several materials but only the vermil could result in such an effect. Excitedly he shared his discovery with his teacher now father about it because he might be interested in them.

Only then he learned the history of the crystal called Avves. Firstly the name Avves came from the man who discovered the crystal itself, Rint Avves Cross, he was the late Marshall of the 2nd fleet before he retired due to spiritual problems, and was Cross's great-grandfather.
