The Lover and the Phoenix [2]

Written on the paper were this.

[ Greetings Lord Ellios,

An unknown man wearing a white tunic and a fox mask had used the Phoenix crest as he enter Hanwi. The man appeared all alone and from close investigation, we can say that he is not ordinary. The man has submitted hundreds of high-level monsters, he seems to possess great strength. He also lacks other identification aside from the badge that he showed. ]

Attached at the back was a scroll that enables you to see a recorded image. He inputted his energy and there he saw a young man wearing a mask.

He look at the image of the young man as he was showing the crest to the guards. Though the feeling he gave wasn't similar to the Phoenix that he remembered, there was no denying that the crest was the real one. Upon seeing it he made a decision to meet the boy, even if he was not the one he was looking for, he might be able to point out where the Phoenix went. No matter how small the possibility of them meeting he wouldn't let this one go.

"How long was a letter supposed to reach here?" he asked Krei.

"Most packages may take 2 months to be delivered but if you pay more 1 week is the shortest from Hanwi to the Phoenix Clan" Krei explained "Since we need to wait for confirmation, it should have been 9 days since this letter arrived."

He stand from his seat and took a deep breath. He calms his heart and eases his energy. He needs to relax.

"Krei, prepare the Teleportation array we're going to Hanwi right now" he informs as he carries the crystal in his arms. He might find them easily by using the glowing orb.

"I have already prepared it my Lord" he said and guide his master to a room. He had already prepared all the necessities the moment this letter came, he was only waiting for the confirmation of whether it was authentic or not before going to his master. He wouldn't be the head butler for nothing.

The room they entered was covered with red-orange crystals of varying sizes from delicate to enormous ones that glittered like the stars in the sky. There were large spheres that looked like eggs scattered around the room, while others glowed in soft shades of red and yellow, as well as a few larger ones that shone brightly enough to light up the entire room. A huge circle delicately enclosed the huge array that can be found in the center. Drawn on was an intricately detailed map of their world.

This room was a multi-used teleportation device that could be used as long as the is energy supplemented. Something like this hasn't been found in their continent, normally a teleportation array can only be used once and even then you would have trouble pinpointing the desired place you want to go. To create this you need a pure crystal stone of top quality just to make and so it was rare to see one.

Phoenix has been dissatisfied with how backward their society and so he made one. He even used his fire to create the crystal around it. Before going back, Phoenix left Ellios the portable crystal. Using a portable crystal he can easily manipulate the array and travel to places he wants.

He took out the portable crystal from his space ring and operated his energy toward where the Hanwi Village was located. That moment a red-orange smoke arise from the floor towards their body. The map of Hanwi began to light up and the silhouette of two tall figures suddenly vanished.

'Wait for me, I'll see you soon.. ' He thought as he tries to imagine Phoenix's reaction. The tingling in his fingers didn't stop. When he found the person who was waiting for him on the other side of the portal he knew for sure that he will never let him leave him again. Not this time.

In no time the map turned into one large square and then into two squares. Then it turned into three squares, four squares, eight squares, and twenty squares until it finishes all the rotations. In a blink of an eye, Hanwi Village appeared before the two in full form.

They were exactly at the gates of the villages and so people who were entering and exiting the place saw such a phenomenon. Not to mention the aura emitting from Ellios was too strong for them to not notice. Everyone immediately froze feeling the energy, they bet that this person could kill everyone just from his aura.

" i is that teleportation!" a man said with disbelief.

"didn't they say you could lose your life using that"

Another thing for them to wonder about is of course his teleportation method.

Everyone wanted to gossip about the two men who suddenly appear but they wear too afraid to move. The guards who were alerted immediately inform the guild masters while the other one went to inspect the intruder.

When he reached the gates, he saw two tall gentlemen standing at the gates making him stop. Their handsome face was serene and calm. However that's not what shocked him, it was because of the crest on the chest of the other man wearing formal clothes black and white. It was once again a badge from the Phoenix Clan. Seeing his respectful attitude towards the guy in front of him, the one wearing the badge must be an attendant. There was only one man who fit this image, it was the head butler who had black hair and black eyes Krei Lein. So if his here...

'then that means this person must be the Palace Master.' he thought as he look at the man wearing a black tunic. Ellios slightly move and the badge on his chest could be seen. The guard gulped from the fear and muster his best to approach them. He almost collapse seeing that crest.

Just as the guard was about to ask Ellios and Krei, Ellios suddenly felt the familiar burning aura from the village. His heart began to beat faster. This burning fire he had longed for. Though it was faint and was weaker than before there was no denying that aura.

"He's here!" he whispered, he no longer waited for the guard but immediately storm off, the orb he was holding was also glowing even brighter and it looked like a bright moon. He didn't care what kind of destruction he had caused to the town. His mind only focuses on the familiar sensation. The feeling only grew stronger as his heartbeats increased with each step. A sense of nervousness crept into his veins.

Seeing his master suddenly fly, Krei could only inform the guards about their arrival.

"tell the guild master will talk to him later, excuse me" after saying this he followed his master whose shadow could no longer be seen. From the looks of it, it seem that Phoenix was here.

The guard who was left there was still shocked by the arrival of the two. Thankfully he was awakened by everyone's voice.

He immediately went back to his post and inform the guild master.

"Seriously this job isn't paying me enough"
