Entering The Forest

'It seems that my luck is really good.' He thought as he appeared outside the mouth of a cave and in a plot of empty land which stretched for twenty meters, in front of it was a forest. Watching the skies, he realized that it seemed to be at noon and the sun was blazing with heat.

He then shifted his gaze toward the paper in his hand as he read its contents. What he read made him curse in his mind as what was said went something like this...

{Dear young master,

I know that you may be confused or even possibly scared but, you must calm your emotions and listen to the tips written on this paper.

1.) Survive- As of yet, you aren't able to stay alive when killed so, to survive, you only need not die.

2.) Leaving This Planet- If the master wants to leave this planet, all he needs to do is become the strongest. Once you are the peak power in this world and rule all three realms, I will personally come to send you to the next world.

3.) Goal- Though this does not qualify as a tip, it is important to know your goal which is to reach the Energy Maneuvering rank.

To finish, make sure to follow these tips properly, and please don't die. You should also learn the ranks of power from the little information bot aka the little system that I made.

Yours sincerely, The Most Badass White-haired Butler, Zeno!!}

Tsk!

Reading the letter which contain almost nothing useful, Saber couldn't help but click his tongue in annoyance, similar to how the white-haired butler who is now known as Zeno clicked his tongue in annoyance.

Angered by the words written, Saber began walking toward the forest with the intention of ignoring the system but, quickly regaining his bearings, Saber knew that this was a life and death matter.

'I can't play with my life like that. It's not as if I am the main character of fantasy and even if I am, there are plenty of disappointing protagonists who have died in their own stories. I do not want to die, instead, I will use this chance to explore all the unknowns in existence.'

Saber thought. His interest in the unknown was there throughout his life, ever since he was born he was interested in the world outside that of the normal mortals. Now he had a chance to adventure and see such unknowns, discover new things and hopefully meet interesting people.

'Now, let's see what does this system has to offer...System, show me my window.' He ordered in his mind, a transparent screen then appeared with information that he found interesting.

Seeing such information that he was unable to understand, a smile formed on Saber's face as he found it truly interesting. It seemed that he was finally going to find his life interesting and not only that, it also seems that he may need to improve his strength.

'Little system, most of the information here is very confusing but there is one which greatly confuses me. Please explain what the bloodline awakening is, the others can be found out later otherwise life would not be interesting.' Jin sent his thoughts to his system while he again began walking toward the forest entrance.

[The Bloodline Awakening process is completely out of the master's control. It relies on talent alone, once the master reaches a certain realm of power, the bloodline awakening will quicken unexpectedly.

Once that happens and it reaches one hundred percent, the system will be able to accurately gauge how pure the master's bloodline is. Along with that, the master would undergo tremendous changes.

But, such information is unimportant to the master as of now.]

Seeing the words written on the screen, Saber merely nodded his head while thinking of how interesting it is. Keeping such information away from him did not anger him as it instead made him want to increase his strength and figure it out by himself.

Saber's nature was what one could call special. He has a normal adventurous side, but this side only wants to adventure the unknown to all, while his more peculiar side was of course his indifference to life. Luckily for the human race of his previous world, they weren't creatures whose emotions were uncontrollable and they also were peaceful and kind-hearted beings.

Saber had a special way of acknowledging other beings, when he first sees something or someone, he will think of them as zero. Yes, he thinks of them as a number, once they were zero, he would completely ignore their existence. If they help him with something or he finds them interesting, then he raises the number from zero to one, two, three, etc...

But, when that number becomes negative one or lower, he finds their existence annoying and he'll try to wipe that existence away from the realm of the living. Many of his pets were unlucky because of that and if those three boys had not previously helped Saber with something, they would have been killed in the cleaning room!!

Anyway, Saber was currently walking through a forest as his eyes contained traces of interest wherever he looked. The trees here were way taller than on his home planet, and even the air felt a lot cleaner and fresh. What surprised him, was the fact that he had not yet come across an animal in this forest.

His walk continued for hours upon hours as he started to feel hungry. He wasn't fatigued mentally nor physically which surprised him, but what surprised him more was the fact that his belly gave out a grumble. Normally, he would not feel hungry even after days of not eating yet, in a mere three hours of walking, he felt starved.

So, with a newfound hunger, he began walking again. This time, it wasn't a completely random place...well it was, but this time he was searching for something. He was searching for a living creature as he hoped to fill his empty stomach.

Two more hours went by, and the sun was beginning to set. And as Saber was about to shout out in anger, he finally heard a noise in his surroundings. It was the noise of a twig being stepped on as he darted his gaze toward his right side.

What came into view almost made him shed tears. Why? It was because luck was finally beginning to shine on him. The sight of a cute rabbit that was even a lot meatier than in his homeworld is what came into his view. What surprised him, was the fact that the rabbit was around 110 centimeters in height.

One must know, that even in his old world, rabbits had a height of around 60 centimeters, even the larger breeds were only 90 centimeters, yet the one in front of him was a whole 20 centimeters taller than even those larger breeds. But, he did not mind it one bit. He instead found it better this way since it was more meat for him.

What he did not know, was the fact that he'll come to eat those thoughts a few seconds later.
