God Of Fiends?

Slice!

Saber's sword slash through the air as he decapitated the head of another Inner sect disciple. His mouth formed an O shape after his chibi assistant informed him that even the Heavenly Body Sect was in the know of his location.

A smile then formed on his face. A sadistic smile that could send the shivers in the spine of any being as he continued his massacre. This time though, his speed had increased exponentially as the residents of the Inner sect were close to being completely obliterated.

A feeling of jubilance entered his mind as he saw their faces of despair. But, he know such a feeling wasn't healthy and may lead to unforeseen events, so he calmed himself and hurriedly went to finish off whatever had escaped.

Flash Flash!

But, as he was about to chase his prey, two sets of flashing lights momentarily blinded him. Almost instantly though, he was able to regain his sight and laid his eyes on the sight of eighteen or so figures who exuded way more strength than the Inner disciples.

"You...you will pay for this!!"

A shout escaped the lips of one of the figures as Saber couldn't help but smile when seeing someone was careless enough to lose to their emotions in his presence.

(A Few Seconds Ago)

"We must go now." One of the nine figures said. His voice traveled to the old man aka the city lord as he shifted his gaze to the young man who he previously needed to stop from heading to what he deemed as inevitable death.

Nodding his head in understanding, the young man then waved his hand as multiple objects that seemed to be spirit stones appeared and randomly flew to all corners of this room. With that, a bright light bathed them as they disappeared from the room.

(At The Same Time)

Tsk!

"What are you waiting for?! Hurry and get us there now!!" The grey-haired old man who once was a happy fellow bellowed out in anger toward the innocent Inner disciple.

Not wanting to get on the bad side of his master another time, the Inner disciple hurriedly placed spirit stones in random places across the room. Thereafter, bright light washed over everyone in the room as their bodies disappeared.

(Present Time)

Seeing such carelessness in the control of one's emotions, Saber couldn't help but try to stifle his own laughter.

'It seems that body cultivators are incredibly stupid humans.' Saber thought with a smile on his face.

But, just as Saber was about to reply, the city lord then said...

"How about it...Why do we not make a deal and help each other out?" He said with a smile on his face toward the old man next to him. The leader of this heavenly body sect on the other hand couldn't help but be annoyed by the presence of the city lord.

Tsk!

He clicked his tongue in annoyance, but he reluctantly nodded his head as he was unwilling to voice his agreement with this city lord. A smirk formed on the city lord's face, as he felt as if his luck was shining down on him.

'I get to deal with this fiend who killed my people, and I even get to put this old bastard in his place.' The city lord thought with happiness as he then shifted his focus toward Saber and said.

"You may have killed my people, you may have also killed the innocent disciples of this Heavenly Body Sect, but know this, you fiend...your rampage ends today.

Even if you are stronger than all of us here, even if you kill all of us and escape, an image of your face has already been sent to the next city. No matter what, your death is inevitable!"

One may not be able to perceive it, but the city lord was currently trying to hold himself back from wildly assaulting the man in front of him as he felt a never-ending rage when gazing at the one man who caused the death of more than a million of his people.

Suddenly the temperature in the surroundings dropped. The faces of the eighteen figures turned grim as the Inner disciple who was unlucky enough to be there began shivering. His body uncontrollably shook as soon after, and without anyone being able to react, the Inner disciple was somehow split in half.

His upper body ascended to the skies as Saber was seen standing next to the heavenly body sect leader. His expression was calm, but his eyes were filled with scorn. With an ice-cold tone, Saber then uttered.

"My death is inevitable?! You...it seems that you are unaware of who you are in the presence of." His icy gaze stared into the soul of a shocked and flabbergasted city lord. The figures next to the city lord were also left speechless and in fear by the speed Saber displayed.

Swoosh!

Well, all except the young man who previously brought them here in the first place. With wrath obvious from his facial expression, he dashed toward Saber's direction as he sent an attack with the spear that appeared in his hand.

The spear stabbed at Saber's body but, simply weapon mastery, and Saber was always going to be the winner. Not to mention Saber's overwhelming amount of strength. It was obvious the outcome, and before anyone processed the young man's actions to attack Saber, they saw his head flying through the night skies.

The city lord's face turned ashen. The head of his child was just sliced off from its neck, yet he was unable to do anything. Yet, he did not even dare think to do anything. He was drowned in fear and was left soaked in what seemed to be his own urine.

Tsk!

"And there goes my plaything. If it wasn't for my natural instincts." Saber said in disappointment. He then shifted his gaze toward the leader of the heavenly body sect who was kneeling on the ground with sweat on his forehead as Saber then voiced out.

"Why do you people seem so scared of me?" Saber asked. His expression then shifted from a cold and wicked smirk to a calm and also thankful smile as he continued.

"If it weren't for you, I wouldn't have known people were coming after me because of my facial features. Knowing this, I will allow you, people, to live. So, rejoice!" Saber said as the surroundings began turning into particles.

Saber watched their shocked faces as they watched on in a stupor as their own hands and feet also began turning into particles. They were left speechless as Saber's body disappeared into particles faster than their own.

Slowly, the true moon shined onto their true bodies, as their blurry vision cleared. The city lord finally regained his bearings as he realized that kneeling next to him, was his previously dead son who also adorned a shocked expression.

With expressions of disbelief, they embraced each other. For the first time in many years, they placed aside their arguments and cried in thanks to whichever god there was that they were able to come out alive.

.

.

.

"Thank the God Of Fiends Saber that you were able to make it out alive." A figure who sat on a rooftop said as he then broke out in laughter at his own cheesy words.

"But, on a more serious note, it seems my illusions have improved without my strength improving."
