The Second In Command

Sigh!

"Fine, I have no choice." Saber's determined voice echoed in his location. He had a simple plan, he would create a connection and transfer his situation as he would then instantly break the connection successfully allowing for total privacy with that Saber.

This thought brought a smile to his face as he wondered how was it possible for him to be this intelligent. He truly felt proud of himself, his father, his mother, and all his ancestors. For him to be this intellectually gifted, wouldn't all his ancestors need to be at such a level?

Smirking at his stupid thoughts, Saber immediately contacted a specific other self of his. What Saber didn't realize though, was the fact that because he refused to read the thoughts of this specific other self, certain trouble will befall him if and when he returns to the living realm...!!

But, it wouldn't simply be trouble, as it would also be something that will save the existence called Saber many, many, many, cycles from now.

Back in the world that was long conquered by the red-skinned goblins, one can see the figure of Saber floating with confusion clear from his expression. He had just been ordered by another Saber to come to this world to help in taking over this world, yet when he reached here from another Solar System, the origin Saber wasn't present.

The most confusing part of it all had to be the fact that he couldn't even feel origin Saber's presence in this world. In his True form, Saber was able to sense the deathly and also hellish aura reeking from the gate that origin Saber had previously entered, and he was planning to go there and of course, enter it.

Yet, before he could, the watch gadget on his wrist vibrated as right after...

"All Sabers, this is Second speaking, come to the Emperor's Palace for a very important meeting. Of course, those who are disguised, make sure to not alert anyone."

A voice that was the same as all other Sabers, ringed out in this Saber's ear, causing his left eyelid to twitch in annoyance. After all, it was annoying to travel through the fabrics of space to get to one place. Now, he was being told he needed to fly through space once more.

The worst part was, that the Emperor's Palace was a whole half a light-year away.

(Some Time Later)

Located inside the Earth's Solar System, floating in the depths of space, one can see the figure of a pair of humanoid figures in silver armor who seemed to be guarding the doors which floated behind them.

The words, "EMPEROR'S PALACE!" was imposed written on the doors and behind the doors was the scene of a silvery outline of a castle that could be seen at times.

The guards that guarded the doors were different compared to those we last saw.

After all, they were humans, and even though they were of a different species compared to pure breed humans such as Branden and those of earth, they still were humans and had the same petty weaknesses such as possibly dying from lack of air.

Because of this human weakness, there are multiple guards as they each have shifts that last for a few hours guarding the doors that float in space.

Suddenly, out of nowhere, without any previous sign, one can see thousands of dark lights approaching with incredible speeds from the depths of space toward the doors of the "EMPEROR'S PALACE".

The duo of guards was then left speechless as the dark lights almost instantly appeared right in front of them, revealing the shocking sight of thousands of Saber look-alikes.

Yet, the guards dared not say they were mere look-alikes since the aura radiating from them made it obvious that they were Saber...Sabers!

"Y-Y-Your M-Ma-Majesty...Your Majesties!??!" One of the guards muttered with confusion, shock, and apprehension.

BANG!

"They all nodded their heads before they then turned into flashes of light and burst through the doors!

Hierarchy.

It is a concept in which members of an organization or society are ranked at multiple different levels according to their status or authority. In a society where everyone is quite literally one person split into thousands, such a thing as a higher authority is for only the original.

When the original isn't present though, there is what one can call status that is used to filter the rest and find someone to lead. To gain such a status to become the second in command, or be named 'The Second', each Saber fought in a tournament where the last man standing would be the so-called 'Second'.

Inside a landscape created by the Exypnos species, one can see thousands of Sabers sitting peacefully on top of grassland as they all faced one particular Saber who sat seiza styled in the utmost front.

Shockingly, on his ring finger, one can see the sight of the Black Ring. This Saber, known as 'The Second', then opened his mouth and spoke.

"I have gathered you all here today, to share the horrible news that origin has been trapped in hell...!" His words were spoken in a neutral voice. It seemed as if he did not even care for the origin's safety even though knowing the fact that if the origin dies, he would also die...!

"Origin shared this information through our mental connection. Of course, our goal hasn't changed one bit. Taking over this universe was our goal, but, it wasn't a goal that we previously rushed to complete.

But, with the sudden appearance of this situation which we haven't calculated, it is time that we shift the speed at which we conquer planets.

Our new goal that can under no circumstance be placed aside for anything else is...conquering our neighbor Solar System!!"

THRUM!!

With these shocking words, all the Sabers present began transforming into multiple different forms. They all retained humanoid appearances, yet they each were different.

From little kids with white hair, teenagers with golden hair, middle-aged men and women with brown and black hair, all the way to old men and fragile women with grey hair and wrinkly skin.

"Now go. Go to the next door Solar System and corrupt their planets and people. As an entity who has been called The Devil's Son, Demon, Fiend, Monster, Abomination, Harbinger Of Chaos, and much worse, why don't we all live up to our titles...!!"

Even though a moral booster pep talk was unneeded since they were all one, and had the same goal and willpower to carry out such a goal, Second still decided to give a little speech, while he gazed at the dark blurs who then shot out of the room.

Sitting alone, and gazing at the serene and peaceful landscape, Second then gazed at the Black Ring while he muttered.

"Master, do you have a problem with what I intend to do. Would you try to stop me if I follow through with it?" Second, uttered and questioned the illusionary figure who appeared next to him with a dangerous light momentarily flashing through his eyes.

"Oh my, Second In Command, what do you speak of that makes it possible for you to show such a threatening look to your one and only master?~" Goldy replied to his question with another question while his tone was filled with playfulness.

Tsk!

Saber clicked his tongue in anger when hearing the tone of his master as he then replied...
