Pause In Time, Something Unexpected!
"By chance, do you want to raise things a notch or two...?!"
Saber's excited voice resounded in Dawn's ears.
It was a Dawn who was intending to agree but...
Both blood-thirsty smiles on the faces of Saber and Dawn froze as the expressions on their faces would seemingly show confusion.
Yet, even that wouldn't be the weirdest part since, their expression of confusion, along with their body movements, would seemingly freeze, and not change even after a few seconds...!
Surrounding the duo, one can see a blinding light seemingly stuck in time as the fists of the duo never changed the position in which when they contacted each other.
'Huh?'
Even if time itself seemed to be stopped around him, Saber was still able to think as he was left gobsmacked by the fact that he couldn't even move his eyelid!
It was the first time in his existence did Saber feel this way making him wonder if to get out of this situation, would his concept of evolving be the key.
And if it was, then there would be a serious problem since the stronger he had gotten over time, the more apparent it had been to him that his evolution concept was becoming weaker and weaker...!
'How?!'
On the other hand, Dawn was shockingly also able to retain a working consciousness as he thought in his mind about the many possibilities that would be able to explain his current predicament.
'This... shouldn't possibly be plausible...No, I don't want this!!'
Dawn shouted in his mind as in the outside world, for merely a millisecond, his eyes flashed with a silvery hue as his body trembled.
THRUM!!
While Saber was left completely render less, Dawn was still able to counter, if only a fraction of a second...
Yet, it was still for a mere fraction of a second that went unnoticed by the shocked crowd. These normal mortals were unable to comprehend the reason why the duo had halted their movements.
Even though they were unable to see their movements, the figures surrounded by lights assaulting each other were Saber & Dawn.
With that in mind, the spectators were left confused when these brilliant fragments of light suddenly halted their battle.
The exciting battle that they previously watched in shock and excitement came to an abrupt stop for a currently unknown reason.
On the floors of the battle arena, one can see the many figures of contestants with severe injuries either laying on the ground unconscious or weakly standing on their feet.
They were also shocked by the fact that the two entities which caused them their current predicament were in the skies, seemingly staring into each other's eyes.
Along with them, their surroundings were dead silent, as the contestants down below wondered what the hell they were doing.
Tap! Tap! Tap!
But, while everyone was in the middle of their confusion, the sound of someone walking on the metallic floors of the battle arena resounded in the minds of all present...!
Shifting their gaze, their eyes laid bare on the figure of a tall man with long inky black hair and an extremely intimidating aura.
His cold black pupils gazed into the eyes of the contestants, causing many to shudder in fear.
He was at the moment, the spectacle of attention, as everyone gazed as he floated into the air and approached the duo seemingly frozen in place.
Appearing in between the two, he then said in a domineering and powerful tone.
"It was because this planet was widely known as the weakest in the Solar System that when I was tasked to overseer the tournament in this High-Level Planet, I didn't expect to meet not one, but two galactic level talents..."
THRUM!
His words ringed in the ears of every being present as he gently waved his hand.
Right after, the bodies of both Saber and Dawn trembled as Saber instantly darted his gaze towards this new lifeform who seemingly easily overpowered him.
"Now that the fight between you two has caused the number of participants to be below 80, I think it's safe to say that the second round has ended.
And seeing as the strength of you two are multiple levels higher than the others, I, with my authority, allow for the both of you to jump straight to the finals...
After all, I was tasked to go back to this Solar System's Human Race HQ with the top four talents, if the both of you fight in the third round, before the finals I will be left with no contestants alive to carry back...!"
THRUM!!
Revealing the fact that Saber and Dawn were to skip a whole round and enter the finals, this overseer had a smile on his face as he thought of the possible rewards he'll get from bringing talents of this level...
On the other hand, Saber and Dawn who had landed on the ground and processed the information in their minds went on to gaze into the eyes each other.
Without the realization of any other entity present, a dangerous light flickered in the eyes of the duo as they then slightly smirked at each other, seemingly on the same wavelength.
Thereafter, the scene of Saber shaking the hand Dawn entered the eyes of the contestants and spectators, as Saber then lightly touched the card on his chest...
A bright light enshrouded his body as he disappeared from the battle arena, the same situation happened to the figure of Dawn as they made one wonder, what had occurred for them to suddenly seem to be on friendly terms.

Inside a certain restaurant, two bright flashes of light lit up the room as the figures of both Saber and Dawn appeared.
A smirk still plastered on Saber's face caused the waitress he had previously met to lightly blush as Saber chose a random table and then sat down.
The figure of Dawn sitting on the opposite side of the table entered Saber's eyes as Saber then uttered.
"Did you know, food tastes really good...!"
With a bright smile on his face Saber made it obvious to his previous opponent the fact that he was a sucker for food, rather similar to a certain Aegon from quite a long time ago...
Dawn was shocked, and his raised eyebrow made it obvious. But, his shock and confusion intensified many times more when a shocking event went on to take place.
With his eyes still on the figure of Saber, Dawn gazed on in shock and confusion as to the pupils of Saber seemingly dilated as a fearful expression took over his face.
RUMBLE!!!
The walls of the restaurant began cracking as the aura of Saber blasted outwards, sending an unsuspecting Dawn, to be blasted backward.
It wasn't just a mere Level 1, Earth Immortal aura...!
No, what exploded outward was the full aura of Saber as he suddenly felt a horrible premonition!
Yet, before Dawn could even stabilize himself in mid-air, one can see the figure of Saber who had spat a mouthful of blood, and whose eyes spurted blood, limply faint to the ground!
THRUM!!
What one needed to know, was the fact that this didn't happen to simply Saber who was present in the physical world, since the only Saber who hasn't yet been devoured by Second Saber, and resided inside the Black Ring, also fell unconscious in the same fashion as Second Saber...!
