1,000 Years (7)

There was not a sound, not even the sound of wind being slashed apart as the island simply disappeared as if it never existed in the river of time.

"Let's go!" Oblivion casually uttered. The trio stood mid-air in a blank space. "We'll be going to the Outer Region. This is your domain, so I'll assume you can see everything happening inside... Send me to this person..."

As Oblivion said this, the sword sheathed on his waist trembled as an image was carved from the very fabric of the space in front of the trio.

Nodding his head and with a slight smirk on his face, Orion waved his hand as a doorway-sized opening in the space mysteriously appeared. Walking inside, Oblivion was followed by Orion and finally Cecelia...

Xiu!

A young man sat above a large endless flowing river. The water was crystal blue and glittered under the light of the sun in the skies.

His aura was transcendent and his bearing was extraordinary as he slowly opened his eyes, only to meet with a pair of purely black and unnaturally emotionless orbs.

Watching the young man who adorned only pants, with grey hair reaching his calf and a pair of black inky oceans in the shape of orbs, Dawn couldn't help but remember Saber.

Though the features were different, incredibly and very visibly different, there was a feeling that came with this figure and the one he had in his memories.

Dawn's face changed. His expression froze for a moment as if remembering something. Or at least, trying to remember something as he held his head, feeling a buzzing pain.

"A-Are you Saber... or someone else?" Dawn voiced. His voice though was unable to hide the pain he felt as he placed his index and middle fingers between his brows.

"I am but am not... As for why I'm here, it is to recruit you, Dawn... Or should I refer to you as the 2nd Ancient God?" Oblivion casually said.

Visibly shocked, Dawn stood up to his feet, levitating mid-air as he took a step, instantly appearing in front of Oblivion who had his hands on his waist.

Placing his palm on Oblivion's shoulders he confusedly uttered with a stunned expression...

"W-What... This... How do you...!" But before he could finish, Oblivion placed his finger on Dawn's lips, stopping him from speaking any further.

Taking his finger away, he clasped his hands behind his back and turned away, landing on the water flowing in the river. With each step, he remained standing even on water and even without the ability to manipulate the world...

"After all, when I and Saber meet and try to be reborn, becoming our original self, or as you know it to be Pure-Heart, the Primal Ancient God, there will be a lot of people from my Higher World who will oppose it... So, it is best to also get you on my side." Oblivion said, continuing...

"Whilst I'm merging, I'll be unable to resist any attack made by others. And once I begin the process, every being would know of it inside my creation. So I need your help..."

Upon finishing, the place was then filled with silence. Dawn's expression twisted before settling on a cold and unreadable persona.

'Seeing as he can see through my true identity, it's obvious that he truly is one of the Ancient Gods and of them, only the First, only the one who calls himself Pure-Heart, only the Primal Lord has this kind of nonexistent aura... Though it is much different than long ago, this is the first of us... The one standing in front of me is the Primal Lord...!'

"Since the cat's out of the bag, I may as well stop pretending. Primal Lord, you need not ask whether I'll help you or not... It is a given the junior listens to their senior!"

Dawn knelt on the surface of the still-moving water. Well, at least, the once moving water as when his knee touched the ground, this area of the water had stopped, turning solid.

"Good." Oblivion smirked. Thereafter, he waved his hand in the air as a long katana suddenly appeared in his hand as he grabbed the hilt of the katana, pointing it toward a particular direction.

"Little Second... No, I'll call you Dawn... That fellow who we had met... The one whose name went by Liam... I'm sure he'll be useful. Orion!" Oblivion ordered... Right there and then, to Dawn's surprise, two figures suddenly appeared next to him.

"Oh, this... is this your domain...?" Dawn asked with a frigid and detached voice. Earning a nod from Orion who appeared next to Oblivion and waved his hand once again, creating another portal.

"Let's go." Oblivion whispered. He took a step into the portal followed by Orion, Dawn, and Cecelia.

...

...

"Hehehe..." Inside a dark room, a young man with black hair tied into a ponytail reaching his waist stood in front of a large long sword that floated mid-air. He had a creepy smile as his eyes flashed with utter sharpness.

"Thanks to this treasure, I've already become a Seventh Level Profound Immortal in merely around a century..." Liam had a crazed look in his eyes.

"That war they sent us inside here to prepare for... Hehe, by the time another several hundred years pass and we're to leave this place, me alone will be enough to save the Milky Way...!"

Liam's eyes gleamed as his dark pupils released a sharp light that caused slashes to appear on the walls of the room. Just as he was about to focus on the patterns and markings on the black sword once again, another voice resounded inside the room.

"The Milky Way Galaxy should be the least of your worries. Soon after exiting this place, a feeble little galaxy wouldn't be worth mentioning... After all, our opponents are even more ancient than this cosmos..."

Suddenly, a cold and aloof voice resounded, maintaining a monotone level throughout as its words entered Liam's ears. Sharply spinning around with alarm on his face, clearly, due to not sensing the owner of this voice appearing, Liam's eyes landed on Oblivion's angelic features...

Following behind from a crack in space were the evil-looking Orion who constantly snickered, Dawn with an unnaturally cold and detached persona, and a veiled blue-haired beauty, Cecelia. Seeing Dawn's figure, Liam's nerves calmed but he still had a confused expression.

"Who're you?" He asked while focusing on the one who seemed to be the leader of the group. It was a weird feeling for him though. After all, Oblivion was seemingly a perfectly normal mortal even more normal than mortals... Yet he seemed to be the leader of the group.

Adding to the fact that he walked out of the space crack which would normally burst a mortal's body into smithereens, it made it seem that this white-haired creation was the scariest.

But, Cecelia's aura was something that stifled Liam and Orion's aura, though he could sense it was forcefully taken in, he could feel that it was even worse than the veiled woman, sending shivers running up his spine.

Only Dawn seemed to be the most 'normal' of the group...!

"Oh, how painful... You can't even recognize me...?" Oblivion said. At the same time, he released an arrogant-looking smile. Upon seeing that smile, a figure overlapped Oblivion's figure in Liam's eyes.

"Saber!" Shocked by what he saw, he shouted as he had trouble believing it... What the hell must have happened for such a drastic change in aura and appearance...?!
