Chapter 21- The grand entry
When the light dwindled, they found out it was no other than Cordelia the daughter of the sea.
''Oh my, I hope I didn't scare anyone. It is just my thing to give the best entrance." Cordelia smiles like a genius.
Cordelia had her different shades of blue hair curling down her back, adored with Shining pearls. The pearls matched her light blue eyes, with her eyebrows well carved and her cute pink lips. She wore her clamshell crown which weirdly matched her royal blue ball gown. Cordelia look just like a fascinating doll; she was so mesmerizing to look at.
''Oh please, where are my manners " she said to break the awkward silence in The Ballroom as everyone's eyes were glued on her in so much admiration and disbelief.
She walked up to the King and bowed before him and said ''I bring greetings from the deepest depth of the sea, I am Cordelia the daughter of the sea and its bodies .''
The king returned her greeting and so did Aphrodite '' Greetings Cordelia we are honored to have you here, including your heart-jumping entrance '' then they all laughed while Cordelia stroked the back of her neck feeling a bit remorseful for scaring everyone. The music continued as everyone continued to dance and chat and snack. Cordelia excused herself to go greet the queen who had been dancing with The Werewolf prince. she walked up to the Queen and join them to dance in a circle formation. '' Greetings to her majesty, I am indeed sorry to have rushed in on you; I hope I did not hurt you .'' she sibilated
''No you didn't all thanks to the werewolf prince who was able to drag me in time .'' the queen said With A Trace of blush that made her cheeks red.
'' Before I forget Happy Birthday your majesty, Aphrodite .'' Then the Queen had a confused look
''oh, my did you think I wouldn't see through your disguise? don't worry your secret is safe with me unless the werewolf doesn't know .'' she looked questioning.
"we non Gods have a way of sensing disguises sort of'' the werewolf prince explained.
" Before I forget I got you something." then Cordelia opened her clamshell purse which was beside her and brought out a bracelet made of pearls. "These are no ordinary pearls you can say they are protections bracelet, so whenever you are in danger just hold on to them tightly and I'll be there within a snap of a finger, or if you need a friend to talk to I'll be there," Cordelia said with a huge grin on her face.
"Well let me excuse you two to have fun, while I give little greetings to King Thantos and his accomplices." She had an evil smirk on her face while her left eye brown was raised like an evil maniac.
★★★Aphrodite POV★★★
Before going into the ballroom father was a bit concerned about my safety since both the forces of Good and Evil would be here so Auntie Enyo devices a plan in which the tailor made me look like my mum the Queen, while my mum looks like me and my auntie Enyo remained the same just that my mum wore a redhead just like my auntie Enyo.
Father also didn't want anyone to steal my first dance from him, me being my mother made it seem impossible to steal my first dance but unfortunately, the werewolf prince stole my dance just like my father did to my Mum at her coming-of-age party.
We began to dance in silence while I had my eyes fixed on the prince in amusement. His emerald green eyes and well-asymmetrical face are all muscular fit. I had my hand on his shoulder and the other in his palm. I could feel his strong fists which made me blush while thinking how muscular he actually would be underneath the clothing.
" I never knew the mind of the princess could wander that far." The prince suddenly said as I froze in shock and my heart raced a million miles.
