We hit the road early in the morning and left New York City. As the skyscrapers and buildings slowly disappear more and more trees pop up. We enter a private drive, more like a private road. The road weaves in and out of the trees.
The further we go, I notice houses start popping up, buildings, small shops, and what appears to be a clinic. I look into the mirror with confusion on my face. Zayden notices my look and chuckles.
“This is all my land. Those homes and businesses are a part of my pack. It took a lot of string-pulling and magical barriers to keep this area away from the human eye. But all the sacrifice and work I put into this place was for the well-being of my pack.” He smiles proudly.
I smile to myself and I can’t wait to see more.
After a further drive we turn down another road and we arrive at a huge mansion. The car comes to a stop, and I get out of the car.
