Dangerous Moon

It’s been a week since Oliver was discharged from the hospital. We are staying at Zayden’s estate and my grandparents are staying here as well. It took a lot of convincing that they should stay here. I have been cooped up in my room and occasionally check on Oliver.


I will admit I can be petty and hold a grudge. Am I holding a grudge against Zayden? Yes, I am. I hate being left out on things; I feel like there is more to Devlin than what everyone is telling me. So, I have been avoiding Zayden as much as I can. 


Even though I can feel my wolf protesting me, I ignore her dismay. I sniff the air to see if Zayden is around and he isn’t. I take this moment to burn off some steam. 


I go into the basement and jump on a treadmill, I put on my favorite playlist. I’ve been thinking about Devlin, why is he so interested in me? Oliver and Zayden seem to know him well, even though it was my second time meeting him.
