Dangerous Moon

“What do you mean we are going camping?” I am in the car with Zayden. We’ve been driving for a few hours already. After he told me he wanted us to take a vacation, I was wary about going because it’ll be just us.


I finally agreed with him. He didn’t tell me where we were going. I thought we would be staying in a hotel, not a tent! I feel his gaze on me.


“Camping is the best way to connect with nature. We can work on bringing out your wolf and we get to spend time together.” He reaches for my hand and wraps his fingers around mine. 


“Don’t worry, it’ll be fun.” He tells me while squeezing my hand. 


“Sure Zayden.” I look out the window. I have never been camping or slept in a tent before. I wasn’t sure what I was expecting but this wasn’t what I had in mind. I lay my head on the window, let’s hope I have enough bug spray.


An hour later, we arrive at ‘WELLESLEY ISLAND STATE PARK’. There is a beautiful lake, with a beach and log cabins. I turn to look at Zayden.
