“Alpha, are you okay?” I look up at one of my warriors; I nod my head. The ringing in my ear finally stops, and my legs don’t feel as weak anymore. I stand up and dust off the debris that came from the house.
I can’t believe that Devlin killed my people and f*cking blew up the house. I let out a low growl.
“Go check around the property for survivors, bodies, and anyone suspicious.” I bark at the three warriors. Devlin must have known I would have come, I don’t know how he timed the explosion so well, but he did a bang-up job.
The home that once stood there doesn’t even look like a house before. There are still flames burning parts of the house that are still intact. I pull out my phone; I can’t call the fire department because if the humans get involved and do any DNA test, it’ll raise some eyebrows.
Matthew picks up on the first ring.
