Celeste’s POV
I blurted out marriage in the rush of feelings, the moment was excellent, and I was feeling better. I splash cold water on my face. After making that announcement, I jumped out of bed and ran into the bathroom; now, I am locked in here with my face red with embarrassment.
I am sure I left Zayden shocked and probably confused. I need to face him and tell him my feelings before things spine out of control. I look myself in the mirror and give myself a nod.
I turn the nob on the door, and the door bust open. Zayden steps into the bathroom and closes the door behind him; the bathroom is ample. But with Zayden now in it with me, the room just got smaller.
“You ran away after dropping a bomb like that?” He crosses his arms across his chest and tilts his head at me. I can tell he isn’t mad, more so amused.
I back away from him; I need space before I say something else; who knows what other nonsense I will spit out.
