Leila shifts under the blankets, eyes slowly opening.


She glances to her side and finds the bed empty. Her heart falls a little as she can’t see the man anywhere in the room, but the door to the bedroom opens, and he’s holding a plate as he approaches her. Relief floods her as he settles down beside her, handing the food to her. 


Leila smiles and accepts the breakfast, taking several bites before setting the plate to the side. Ezra tilts his head. “Is that all you want?”


Before she can answer, he leans in, hands on either side of her and captures her lips in slow, passionate kiss. She returns it with fervor and pulls him closer to her by the shirt. Her hands swiftly find his belt buckle, but he stops her, chuckling. 


“You’re so eager, but we can’t.”


She frowns at him and questions as the blanket falls, revealing her chest to him, taunting his form, “Why not?”
