Max Grosvenor is the Alpha that her brother, the King, chooses for her, since her other option was a dangerous man. One that could put the entire Royal Family at risk if he put his hands on her.

Max hadn’t slept in what felt like days now. After the Announcement Dinner, he had been awake during the night, especially after his conversation with Mikki at the palace’s kitchen. 


When he had finally fallen asleep, one of his men came to him at his guest room, saying that his mansion at Aveline City had been attacked during the night.


Max jumped from his bed and didn’t even have time to talk to Ace or anyone from the Auclair family before he left. He asked someone from the palace to give the news to them once they woke up, and then, he shifted at dawn and ran towards his home.


He didn’t even think about taking his car; it would be faster if he was in wolf form anyway. He was an Alpha, and if there was something he could do really well, it was running.


The adrenaline on his body was in full mode, and he didn’t even worry about not having enough energy to face whatever it was that he was going to meet when he got there. He just wanted to make sure his pack was safe.
