Mikki Auclair, Princess of the Royal House pack, is part of a prophecy that says she’ll possess a great power as a Luna, once she marries on her 21st birthday.
Max Grosvenor is the Alpha that her brother, the King, chooses for her, since her other option was a dangerous man. One that could put the entire Royal Family at risk if he put his hands on her.
Max is also her mate, but when he doesn’t show any signs of knowing about the bond, Mikki thinks that he only offered himself out of duty to the King.

Max intended to spend the entire day with Mikki after they finally surrendered to their mate bond completely last night. He still couldn’t believe that he actually made love to Mikki. He tried to stop it before they started, but Mikki was adamant about continuing and he couldn’t deny it twice. 


And that was the most incredible night Max ever had. She was simply… her. Max couldn’t say he was that innocent, not like Mikki anyway, but there was no one in the entire continent, or universe, that made him feel half the way that she had.


At some point during the night, he almost whispered to her that he loved her. But somehow, he managed to stop himself. He didn’t feel like scaring her. Or even worse, he didn’t want her to feel like he was only saying that because of what they did. 


Max wanted it to be a special moment. Not something just said out of the blue, without giving it the proper attention it deserved.
