Chapter 3: Don't tell a soul

Chapter 3: Don't tell a soul

Semeen led the imperial princess and the knight to where she packed her Toyota Camry just a stone throw from the site of the transmigration.

She needed to get Defiance back to the hospital before everyone noticed she was gone.

"Now, listen very carefully, both of you. The people we are occupying are members of the White oak pack. One of the largest werewolf packs in South America. We have to fit into who they were. Diddy, I am sorry…but you are an omega in the pack. The lowest of the low and you have …"

Semeen was interrupted by the imperial princess.

"I can't be an omega, even with the amulet on my wrist, my wolf Layla is stronger than most Alpha wolves. No one will ever believe me to be anything but brave, gracious and royalty. I am no Omega. I am the imperial crown princess Defiance"

"Your royal highness, we can't let anyone know of that. We have to fit in" Semeen persuaded her.

She had spent the last three months in the white oak pack, taking orders from the infant they called an Alpha, learning the ways of the 21st century just to make sure that the imperial princess fits in and is safe until their souls are recalled. Semeen had to put up with a lot of things and she wasn't about to let the child hybrid ruin it or worse get herself killed.

"You will be alright, niece. I shall protect you even if I am inside this miserable considerably shorter human" Judd turned to look at Semeen "Tell me, didn't you see someone worthy of my soul that you had to put me in a sack of potatoes?!" Judd's nostrils flared.

Semeen looked at him. She knew that Luther Judd was trying out his outraged look but with the human he was occupying, he looked like was passing gas.

She tried to hide her chuckle "I had to have fun in this ridiculously boring world that I am staying in, Judd. Now, imperial princess will have to stay with Maddie's parents while the Crosses will have to change houses to be closer to the imperial princess" Semeen told them.

"Wait! I shall not live with total stranger who could very well murder me in the middle of the night!" Defiance yelled.

"Sorry, Kid. It's not up for debate. Let's go. Please enter the car" Semeen told them.

"What's that?" Defiance asked her.

"It's called a car. It replaced horses in the future. It's like a carriage" Semeen answered.

"If it's a carriage then what's pulling it?" Judd asked.

"I don't know! It's magic. Now, enter the car!" Semeen yelled at him.

"Bloody no! I am not entering that man made box. Point me to a horse and we will be on our way"  Judd insisted.

"Okay. Fist it is!"

Before Judd could react, Semeen hit him on the head and knocked him out.

"Wow! I have been dying to do that to the great Sir Luther Judd, lead knight of the realm and shadow of the King-Emperor. It feels good" Semeen said and looked at Defiance. She wasn't smiling.

"What? It's funny!"

"No, he is the King-Emperor's brother. He is my uncle and now, he is on the floor" Defiance told her with a raised eyebrow.

Semeen exhaled, shook her head and lifted Judd up and placed him inside the car.

"Happy?"

"Yes, Commander Semeen"

Defiance entered the moving box mimicking her aunt's movement.

Semeen turned on the car ignition. she had been a natural when she started her driving lesson a week after she arrived in this century. She only took out a few trash cans and killed the former Luna's cat to get a hang of it.

"Are you ready?" She asked the imperial princess. "I learnt the hard way that when I push this strange stick, this car can run faster than your father's wolf. And when it does, do not panic Imperial princess. And remember to breathe. it's really important. I learnt that the hard way too"

"I am ready and Commander Semeen, I shall not let this little box defeat me. I shall be brave and carry myself in grace and dignity" Defiance nodded bravely as she talked.

Semeen believed her and took off taking care to maintain the speed limit of the state.

Defiance tried to control it but it seemed like the magic box had a tendency of trying to clash into the next car. She endured the life threatening ride for roughly two minutes before all hell broke loose.

"Ahhh!" she yelled on top of her voice when she saw an even bigger moving box behind them.

"No! I change my mind. I want a horse. They are reliable" Defiance yelled at the commander. she tried to kick the Car like she would a horse to stop it but the car disobeyed her orders. She simply kept her eyes closed.

"Oh moon Goddess, It doesn't even obey commands like a good horse. I am going to be killed. I am the most powerful hybrid to walk the earth and I...I am going to be killed by a moving box. Do not write it on my tombstone, Aunt Semeen. I can't be the first imperial princess to survive a war with the Vampires, four werewolves packs and humans to be killed by a stupid box..."

"Diddy"

"No..."

"Diddy, we are here! please open your eyes and stop screaming. people are beginning to look at us. Hush, your royal highness!"

Defiance first opened one eye before she opened the other.

She cleared the fog in her throat and recompose herself.

"We shan't talk about what just happened to any living soul especially to my cousin, Alexander, future king of Koi. He will never let me live it down. It's an order, Commander Semeen"

"Yes, your Royal highness"

Soon, they were standing in front of a white building that looked artificial to Defiance. Judd was still in his fist induced sleep.

"Where are we, Commander Semeen? is this a new witches coven?" Defiance asked and looked around the place.
