Chapter 54

After a couple of minutes into the commencement of the journey into the pit, Axena looked into the faces that were with her in the cart and saw that they had their acquaintances with each other as they engaged in talks about their lives before the pit. Axena listened attentively and saw that none of them had any experience before the pit and that they were looking forward to the pit Justas she was. She would have make do with whatever that had to say based on the experiences that they have garnered in the pit but since there was none, Axena gave up. It was at this moment that Axena decided to make use of Badje's presence as he had been quiet since he had stepped into the cart.

"I see you have been quiet, what is the problem?" Axena asked in a mellow tone and Badje turned to look in his direction.
