Acting weird(2)
We went to class and soon found
ourselves sitting at the cafeteria but
when Jenny came in, she sat at a different table. I went to her and pulled her aside to talk.
Jenny- hey.
Me- hey. What's wrong?
Jenny- nothing I am fine.
Me- oh please. You have been acting weird ever since you found out about
Dawn.
Jenny- I just feel you don't want to be
friends with me or that you want to
replace me.
Me- why?
Jenny- I guess it's because you blew me off when I offered to pick you up and came with Dawn. Also, when I was sick in bed, you were here spending time with Dawn. And because you guys became friends quickly but it took me a long time to make us friends.
Me- I have given you enough reason to feel that way but that's not true. We have been best friends since we were twelve and we are sixteen now so best friends for four years. That is what makes you special to me. Dawis a friend of mine but she could never replace you. Think of it as adding a new person to our little group.
Jenny- ok. I love you Kristabel.
Me- I love you too. Come on let's go and get Dawn and then we can go to my house to get ready for the football game.We went to get Dawn and then went to my house to get ready. I picked a jeans button up shirt with tattered jeans along with a blue jacket and a flow
headband. I put on my blue pumps and
went downstairs.
Me- hey Simone.
Simone- what's up sweetie.
Me- dad is coming back tonight, right?
Simone- yeah.
Me- I won't be home.
Simone- where are you going?
Me- The girls and I will go to the football
game.
Simone- ok, I guess. I will see you later
Me- bye.
The girls and I went and immediately
regretted that decision when we saw
how badly our team was playing so we
left. I dropped them off at their various
homes before heading home.
Me- hey Simone I'm home.
Simone- oh hi.
Me- is dad home?
Simone- yeah.
Me- Dad!!
I screamed when I saw him before
running to hug him.
Dad- hey princessa.
He said while laughing
Me- I missed you.
Dad- I missed you too.
Me- of course you did. Who wouldn't?
Dad- princessa I have to go.
Me- where?
Dad- I have a meeting with Alonzo and
my other business partners.
Me- but you just came home.
Dad- I know and I am sorry but I have to
go.
Me- fine but on Saturday we have to
hang out.
Dad- I promise.
Me- bye.
He left and I said goodnight to Simone
before going to bed.
