Ch 18 : Robin's resolve

When the voice came, Mikita immediately turned to the side. She was startled by the sudden arrival of the voice, but it was not the same case for Seth.

He had the observation Haki now, so he had long seen the coming of this voice. What shocked him was only the fact that she would come here in person.

" Ms. All Sunday? What are you doing here? Where's the reinforcement?"

Mikita shouted in confusion. Nico Robin was here, so where was the reinforcement that she requested?

Nico Robin though, seemed to ignore Mikita. She'd rather walk directly in Seth's direction.

A beautiful woman with scattered black hair and exceptionally deep eyes, the indifference contained in her eyes chilled Mikita's entire body.

This woman was none other than Nico Robin, but she also had another identity, which was the right hand of the Boss of Baroque Works. But, she was now acting all familiar with Seth, and it had made Mikita feel horror.

Seeing Mikita's face was filled with horror, Nico Robin just smirked. She walked in and closed the door.

"Well, isn't this Ms. Valentine…"

" You.. what are you doing here? Where's the reinforcement. You don't intend to betray the organization, right?"

Hearing these questions from Mikita, Robin just smiled.

" Don't worry. It's not me who will betray the organization. Rather, it is you.."

" !!! "

" Don't look at me like that. Your report about Seth here had never reached the boss from the start. I have always intercepted it and even fabricated it, so it felt like you were the one who would betray the organization. And the boss… You know him, right? Maybe he had devised a plan to get rid of you soon. After all, he seemed to trust me more than you."

Robin said with a chuckle, but those words seemed to be like a death sentence to Mikita. She obviously knows the horror of their boss, and Mikita, who could still stay strong after being beaten to a pulp by Seth, now, for the first time, had that helpless look on her face.

" You.. is it really necessary to go this far?"

Still, Deep down, Seth was very thankful for Robin's in-time help. Maybe if Robin didn't come and wipe his ass, he would be in some trouble right now. This matter also would be a good lesson for Seth. In this world, only true power would be able to make him safe.

Seth turned toward Robin, who now was looking at him intently.

" Still, is it okay for you to do this? It would be bad if.."

" It's okay. Anyway, I'm tired of running away. The last time we went on a date, even though it was pretty short, I was reminded of the feeling of happiness."

Robin's expression turned solemn. After the last date, every time she tried to close her eyes, the image of her laughing happily with Seth had always come into her mind.

The date reminded her of happy memory, but at the same time, it also woke her up.

Therefore, Robin looked for the time when no one was watching and slipped by. Hoping that she would arrive by Seth's side at the right time.
