Chapter Fifty Eight

Leila's point of view

Bruno is dead, I do not know how to feel about that. Matteo locked himself in the room and has refused to come out. I inhaled a deep breath as I folded my clothes inside my closet. Bruno and I were not that really close. We did not even get the chance to relate with each other.

I was feeling bad and guilty, I had  reasons for feeling guilty. I felt like I betrayed my son and Bruno.

I heard the door to my room open. I was hoping it was Matteo or even Mia. But I was disappointed as soon as I turned around. It was Macho, I turned around and began to fold my clothes back.

"What do you want?" I asked, hoping he won't come closer to me.

"You are not supposed to be here." I added.

"Why? What do you mean?" Macho asked, stepping closer to me. I moved away before he could reach me.

"Macho, stop. We really need to end this." I whispered, fighting back tears.
