Chapter Seventy Nine

Macho

I felt relieved after having that conversation with Leila, it was like a strange burden was lifted off my shoulders. But something else bothered me, am I capable of being a good father to our unborn child. Do I have to practice how to be a good father, or does it come naturally to one.  I sighed heavily, this won't be easy at all, but I have got to try and also give it my best.

"Holla Macho!" I heard the familiar voice of the famous Giovanni Martino.

I turned around and walked towards him.

"Long time old friend," I replied, extending my hands for an handshake.

"It has been really long Macho, I am so glad you are still alive, hale and healthy. I heard about Bruno and Carlos."

"Yes, they were not too lucky like me, though sometimes I wish I have taken their places instead."

"Come on, don't be too hard on yourself." Giovanni said, patting me on the shoulder.
