23: Calm The Storm

“I'm Damian Angel Cristonette.”

“I'm Damian Angel Cristonette.”

“I'm Damian Angel Cristonette.”

The name she mentioned played over and over in my mind. My mind went blank, and I don't think my brain is working anymore.

“I... I can't... breathe,” I mumbled, my voice faltering.

My chest tightens, and I feel my heart sinking deeper and deeper. I see the way my hands shake, and my legs feel like they give up on their own, too weak to move an inch. No, not just my hands. My whole body is trembling just hearing her name. My muscles are shaking, and something is blocking my throat, making it difficult for me to swallow and breathe. My surroundings turned blurry; muffled voices were annoyingly buzzing in my ears. I feel that the surroundings have stopped.

Her name hurts me like a bullet shot straight to my chest.

I need to... I need to come back to my senses.

“I hope you watch over me as I stay here,” she continues.
