"You're that eager to leave?" Alexander whispered with a smile leaning on the door of the car still sitting down. She quickly spun around with a smile as bright as the sun. "Does this mean I don't have to marry you?" She asked as the ray of the sun flickered on her hair and cheek.
She was happy. She had finally gotten the chance to be free, to discover the real Siana Jones. She turned back around taking in the wind and feeling the warm sun on her silky smooth skin. The wind began blowing brutally as Alexander watched her in extreme excitement. He had great plans for her, plans no one could imagine.
He grabbed onto her arm and pulled her close pinning her down in the front of the car, "Are you that eager to leave me?" He asked looking down into her face with his lips stuck between a frown and a smirk.
He was ready to crush her hope, break her spirit. "Not too long ago you wanted me to-” he paused into his sentence gazing down at her cheek. “Are you sober now?" he asked laughing. Was he just toying with her emotions? The look on her face was devastating.
How could he bring her to her place filling her with hope of being free then breaking it, sinking her into a world of tears? He was an evil creature. "Fine if you want to leave then leave," he released her with a smile. How could one’s mood change so swiftly?
"I want you to do something for me in return for your freedom," he said with his head raised and a smirk. Siana's mind wondered hectically. What exactly did he have in mind? What could have gotten him all reeled up so that he was willing to release her? It wouldn't be anything good, she was sure of that.
Siana was scared to ask what it was. She didn’t want to do anything he had in mind but if he was serious then depending on what it was she could give it a shot, for her freedom, for her future.
"Wha- What do you..." her words were fighting at every breath she took, scared to come out in the opening.
His smile got wider, scarier, and sharper. He was intrigued by her stupidity. She was all too excited. Did she trust him? After all, she was just a pawn in the palm of his hands that he could play with anytime and anywhere he wants.
He smiled feeling pleased. "Go on," he whispered signaling her to leave.
It was all real. She wasn't hallucinating nor was she dreaming. Siana stood there frozen in disbelief. Was he testing her? What was going on? This wasn't him. Her tipsy mind wondered what to do if she could leave or stay.
She slowly stepped forward and came to a sharp stop as a car at a red light. If she was to leave did that mean she would never see him again? Did it mean that she could even go anywhere in the world without him following her?
Siana had no time to hesitate. She could finally go back to work, go out every night with her friends, go on trips and live her life to the fullest without him by her side. But before all of that she had to confront her mother and ask her what Mrs. Miguel meant by them being her best friends.
She was one with the wind again. The evening wind blew as she slowly lifted her feet from her current frozen position and made her way to the door. She had finally made up her mind. She didn’t want to see Alexander nor his goons ever again. Alexander watched her walked away as if he was nothing to her. To her, he wasn't. He was just a stranger that kidnapped her for a few days. He was nothing and to her would never be. She gave him no last glance and no goodbyes nor I'll miss yous. He folded his arms and made a chuckle.
"Boss, are you going against Mrs. Miguel's order?" Aden questioned as he watched Siana enter through the door. "Did you do as I asked," he asked now looking over at Aden?
Siana made her way up to the front desk and greeted the familiar face with a smile. She collected her mail and headed to the elevator. She entered and waited patiently for her stop. The alcohol was still lingering in her system but she was well aware of everything that was happening. She grabbed her phone from her purse and sent a message to one of her favorite contacts as the elevator made a loud ding.
She smiled like a teenager that had just been asked out by her crush. Her mind was frozen in joy, where should she begin, her job, a vocation, a big move, or fun? All night out with friends drinking, singing, and dancing, things she could do again. She wanted to experience what it would be like going home with hot guys that are only interested in a one-night hookup, that was one of the things she wanted to try, things she could do now. She had almost lost her chance of living. Now she was deep into it, now she was open to anything but marriage. She was innocent but a freak in the mind, ready to do things she had never thought she would do.
As soon as she opened the door she was met by Kathy's face. "Why are you here?" she asked wrapping her arms around her excited to see her, eager to run wild with her as they usually do. She was on the edge with joy. This was the real Siana.
"Wanna go get drunk?" She asked breaking from the hug. Kathy could smell the alcohol on her. She could see that she was already drunk. Why would she want to go out to drink again?
"Let's go celebrate!" Siana shouted. Kathy wanted to know what happened. Why did her best friend disappear after that day? What was she celebrating?
She was dying with curiosity, deeply indeed to know but she knew Siana. To know she would have to get her giggling like a child, spitting the truth as a snake spitting its venom, moving like a maniac.
"Okay," Kathy responded dragging her inside.
Siana and Kathy packed their faces with makeup as circus clowns and stuffed their bras with paddings as their giggles echoed throughout the apartment filling their neighbor's ears with noise. Disrupting their early night turn- ins. They grabbed their bags and headed down to the main hall where they awaited the others with burning anticipation.
"Sup babe," a voice came along interrupting their loud giggles and snorts.
