Frying Pan

"AAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!" Screams one omega from the other side of the door.

"Run!" Shouts another omega a bit farther than the first one.

"Run to the bunkers!!!!" I hear an omega shout at the top of her lungs.

Getting up from my sofa, I open the door where the omegas with our plates run inside, they all run in and that includes the humans with the Vampires accompanying. Seeing out for a moment I see a giant wolf, it smells like a dead body, but what shocked me was seeing the bones on its legs and on the side, the werewolf is running around with its torn body, bitting others and trashing them.

I'm pulled back by a warrior who enters the room and closes it shut. I rub my hands thru my hair. What in the world is going on outside. Turning my head to my father, he looks like he is about to lose his mind, he is pale-faced and losing his composure.

Looking around the room, everyone is afraid, hugging one another, I look at father and at two warriors who are also afraid to command them. "Alright, my lord you and everyone here leave to the bunkers thru the secret doors, Orpheus and your men come with me. We will get to the bottom of this. Gordon and the rest of the humans follow my King with our people.

If I do not mind link father, nobody is allowed to leave, understood?"

Father runs to open the trap door, "move we need to go, Alexander return alive!" I nod at my father as he closes the door, in comes a werewolf.

Its dead body smell is making my eyes watery, the warriors try to attack it but nothing kills them, not a single claw makes a difference, none attempt to bite the walking carcass, before one of them can bite me, a vampire of Orpheus attacks it and with the vampires bite they move away.

They don't leave but we can see them moving to get away from the vampire. Seeing my kid won't win I go with my next idea, I have no other choice but to end my warrior's life and save the rest who are still wandering around the castle.

Ending the warriors, I walk out to tell Orpheus, "we need to drag them out of the castle, get them in the outskirts to burn them, we need one alive but right now we can't afford it, have your men take outside those they find and burn them." Orpheus nods and gives the order when I run outside to get the others to run after me.

Running the halls to get outside, I spotted a couple of my own pack members showing signs of changing into the living carcass. Jumping to roll down the last stairs, is one of the carcasses that tried to tackle me, in the last step I put my feet on its chest and push it behind me.

I'm running down a total of five floors, currently on the third floor and running low on energy. This is why I fight my father to take as much training as possible. Being in an office all the time will only have me comfortable when I need to be alert and only relaxed when it's more personal, like sleeping.

Jumping over a dead wolf, I slip from a green and red liquid that ruins my uniform; getting up and running to the flight of stairs ahead, I see a carcass wolf walking back as it's being hit with a frying pan by none other than my baby sister, Avana.

Bang, "Get!" Bang "Away!" Bang "From!" Bang "Me!" Bang, "You!" Bang, "Ugly!" Bang, "Carcass!" she hits it repetitively as she starts.

After a couple of more blows, the carcass drops on its snout as my sister huffs and puffs out air, still holding the frying pan, she looks at me with a killing eye, and I raise my hands in surrender. "It's just me, Ava. I am fully alive. Good job on the expired scramble brain.

She places the frying pan down to take a deep breath. We both look around and see no other near us or on their way to us. I went to her and checked if she got bitten or was close to it.

"Did that thing bite you? Licked you? Did you bite it? Anything? Tell me, Ava." I ask her; concern laced all over my tone.

Ava shakes her head 'no' and steps away from the dead carcass. If this thing is some sort of werewolf, then preserving it would be a good idea, but how. The size of this beast is almost 7 feet tall, and it's as wide as a truck.

Bending down to take a better look at the creature, my sister bends with me to also look at it up close. "Perhaps we could place it in the walk-in refrigerator?" Ava suggests.

"Brilliant idea Ava! Okay, but first we need to wear gloves and an apron, we cannot get infected, goddess only knows if this thing can infect us."

As soon as my words with worry leave, she runs back inside the kitchen to grab some of the things she thinks will help us move the creature. I open the refrigerator door, turning to get the gloves, the hat, the apron. Ava comes with a box of trash bags. I smile at her clever idea.

"We will place the remaining body parts here and the remaining or extra fluids in the jars I found." I look at a couple of glass jars she was mentioned in the pantry.

Quickly I take what's left of the snout with what used to be its head up, only for it to fall like scrambled eggs. Seeing it is slowly falling all its pieces, I take it from its chest, and Ava takes it from the hips. Running backward, I get in the fridge, and we lay it down.
