The Grimm, the evilest creature that existed in all existence. The incarnations of all evil in the lands of Remnant. They caused all kinds of supernatural events and the explanation of everything abnormal.

To rebel against these terrible monsters. There was a powerful and fair group called hunters. They fought the Grimm and drove the evil out of the world.

"It's so soon, I want to be with the big brother more" The little girl whimpered taking the sleeve of Jaune's shirt "I don't want the big brother to go away again"

"huhu, don't worry little girl, I'm not leaving" Jaune kissed Emmy's forehead and whispered "I'm never leaving again"

Outside the room where Jaune was telling Emmy the story to sleep, A man, a woman both good-looking, followed by 6 girls were watching everything with their ears to the door and looking through the crack in the door.

"He looks fine!" Sieg Arc commented pulling his ears away from the door"Jeanne, We might be worrying too much"

"He looks sad" Jeanne Arc countered by looking at her husband "Sieg, he disappeared for 5 months and came back all bruised, the worst he didn't say what happened, He only talks openly with Emmy, even then in riddles"

Jeanne was trying her best not to cry in front of her daughters. She wanted to run inside and hug her son. She wanted to force Jaune to tell him everything that happened to him by force.

But, she knew she couldn't do that if she wouldn't lose her son's trust.

"Mom, Jaune will be fine" Saphron put his hand on his mother's shoulder "He's gradually loosening up, Jaune even said good morning to me! Today!"

Saffron tried to cheer her mother up, but she knew it was difficult for the Bear mother she was to be calm about Jaune's situation.

Jaune's other sisters just stood there watching their mother and sister talk. Some were still small, and the older ones didn't want to get involved.

Jaune clicked his tongue and opened the door. His first reaction was to touch the wall outside and laugh. It was a happy smile and a little worried

Looking from a distance, another one of Jaune's sisters, one of the twins, her name was Rose the Emmy Twin, and she was the quieter of the two. She noticed something but didn't have the courage to follow.

"Why, isn't he like that with us?" Kurome Arc the 5th older sister followed only by Rouge, Saphron, Leone and Jaune commented sadly as he took a piece of candy and ate it

She had black hair and red eyes that were a bit emotionless. She also loved sweets

"Jaune bad" Lily the brave youngest sister of the Arc family shouted showing her tongue to Jaune

Lily was a little girl with green hair and lion ears on her head.

Looking out from the window of Arc's house, Jeanne and Sieg were amazed at Emmy's ability to get Jaune to interact with her.

Ever since Jaune come home after being missing for months on end, Jaune hadn't been the same. He didn't talk much, only when necessary and to make matters worse, he just slept the whole day, unlike the lively and fun son they had before.

Jeanne was the most concerned about the situation. She made several frowns in pain, thinking of a thousand things that could serve to get closer to her son.

Sieg Arc touched her shoulder making her look at him. He smiled slightly and hugged her.

"Don't worry, he'll get better" Sieg whispered in Jeanne's ear while hugging her "I'm sure he's just adopted, after all, he was kidnapped for so long..."

Sieg's eyes and fists clenched as the word kidnapping came out of his mouth. He wanted to catch Crocea Mors and hunt down every last of the kidnappers.

The problem was that Jaune didn't say anything about who took him and even completely ignored everyone until Emmy when he was asked about it.

"Darling...look" Jeanne tugged at Sieg's shirt with her voice trembling making the man look in the direction she was looking worriedly.

"It can't be…how?" What Sieg Arc saw was something that scared him and made him excited inside.

His daughter! The quietest of all 6 Arc sisters, Rose was on Jaune's back as he rocked her with Emmy while also being rocked in Jaune's arms.

"I think she's figured out how to interact with Jaune." The calm, analytical voice spoke beside them.

"My God! The Arc couple jumped back in fright with Jeanne almost tripping and Sieg putting up her guard to hit a possible threat.

"Rouge?...what are you doing here?" Jeanne was the first to shut up and asked with her hand on her chest. "When did you get back?"

"Today... I heard that my brother was kidnapped, and I ran back" Rouge said clenching her fist and looking at her parents "You didn't even have the slightest consideration to tell me that my BROTHER HAS BEEN KIDDED?"

Rouge growled angrily looking at the Parents. Her shoulders were tense, and her posture showed the possession of a hunter.

She had light hair-like Jeanne's and red eyes like Sieg's.

"Who told you?" Sieg asked sweating a little and Jeanne looked at him with a sigh.

Besides having other countries in the old world that the empire has to worry about... Making an expedition to the Remnant is not smart.

That's why Sieg and Jeanne fled to Remnant and settled there.

"I see…so she's not coming back?" Sieg asked with a frown

Rouge also raised her voice and let her aura leave her body releasing a small gust of wind and pulling her teigu a black scythe that had sinister energy coming out of it.

Lily was clinging to his neck and Rose was clinging to his back holding the back of his head and his hair. Both Rose and Kurumi were with emotionless expressions.

But... if you knew them well... they'd know they were having a great time.

Jaune sighed and decided to release the words of the creature in his shadow.

"You girls, let's calm down" Sieg walked in front of Jeanne getting between her and Rouge "The enemy is Grimm and not the family... Rouge... why don't you go see the children"

Knowing that the mother and daughter duo never got along... It won't be today that they will get along

5 days later

That night... Sieg and Rouge went to patrol around the village to eliminate the Grimm that hovered over the village at night fulfilling their contract with the village leader who gave them land in exchange for protection.

In the woods in the middle of the night when the whole family was sleeping... some red eyes glowed in the direction of Arc's house.

There were 5 red eyes all ferocious attracted by a smell that made them hungry.

When the eyes came out of the shadows, 5 deformed wolves looking like werewolves could be seen walking cautiously towards the house.

"AAAAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO"

A howl was enough for the alpha of the warped wolves to start running towards the house. One of them jumped onto the porch and smashed through the door with a loud crack.

What a special day it was. Jeanne made sure all her kids sleep in her room in case some thug or Grimm breaks into the house.

Not that she thought it was going to happen... but, as she was the only one able to fight back as her husband and eldest daughter left leaving only her and adult Saphron in the house... which daughter Saphron was not a fighter

Jeanne forced her children to sleep in her room. She slept cuddled with Jaune as she had just discovered that the only way to communicate affectionately with him was through physical touch.

She thanked the children for the innocence of discovering that Jaune responded better to touch than words... thus, she gradually managed to reconnect with her son.

The cracking sound made Jeanne jump out of bed and look towards the door where she saw the shape of a deformed wolf that she recognized for what it was at once.

"Saphron... saffron... Wake up" She started nudging her daughter who groaned

"Ummm... what is it?" Saphron asked sleepily patting her mother's hand

"A Grimm... at home... Take the kids and run away... I'll hold him" Jeanne whispered and Saphron's eyes widened.

"A what...aggg" Saphron almost screamed when Jeanne covered the girl's mouth.

"Shiii.. run away... now," Jeanne said and pulled her flag from under the bed and started to walk softly around the room in search of the figure

Saphron took advantage of the situation to poke all the children, Jaune and Kurumi... Jaune and Kurome opened their eyes and Saphron explained the situation letting them understand and making them take the children

She and the two carried the other children out of the house to a secret basement when Jaune stopped.

"Jaune" Saphron tried to run to the door to stop Jaune...but it was too late.

Jeanne was doing her best. She was butchering the Beowolves by cutting them like butter with her sword. Her armor was giving her mystical protection.

She dodged the blows and counterattacked, killing one Beowolf at a time. However... something caught her attention that the deformed dogs were in alignment in her attacks which was not normal for rabid beasts.

Jeanne got very smart about it fighting the beasts. She took the utmost care and killed them as quickly as possible to stop the beasts from doing anything.

She finally cut off the latter's head with a diagonal swipe and sighed, relaxing.

"I have to find the kids" Jeanne shrugged when she felt a shadow behind her. It was huge bigger than the Beowolf and more humanoid too without a mask on its face

Jeanne could see the intelligence in the beast's gaze, which instead of red was the color of her eyes yellow. She thought the beast was some sort of Elder Grimm...but, that couldn't be true...as Elder Grimms didn't usually attack humans and she'd never seen a Grimm with yellow eyes.

It was in a second that the beast that was standing hidden behind her leaned over and attacked. not letting her think straight and taking her by surprise

Jeanne had no reaction time to dodge. All she can do is place the sword in front of the creature's claws... when the creature's claws hit Jeanne's sword there is a loud bang and Jeanne was thrown away hitting the wall with force destroying the concrete of the wall and causing cracks

"Damn... dear... I'm sorry... children..." Jeanne cried as she hit her face on the floor and saw the world become completely embarrassed as if they were figures.

She knew now that she was going to die… to be dizzy in combat was certain death, and Jeanne knew it very well. the monster was already on top of her.

She tried to get up and fight... her legs shook making it impossible to act... she had lost control of her legs

All she could do was close her eyes when the monster's claws reached her.

Jaune arrived in the room just as her mother was thrown against the wall. He was in shock without moving for a second and anger flared inside him and for a single second his eyes glowed red with a cruel and amused laugh being heard in his mind.

"Stay away from her... lycanthrope" Jaune roared shocking his mother and the lycanthrope who stopped his attack to look at Jaune curiously.

"Jaune run" Jeanne screamed in desperation when she saw that the lycanthrope turned its attention to Jaune

The lycanthrope snapped out of its curiosity and charged at Jaune. It was too late. The creature attacked. Jeanne can only cry and close her eyes. She tried to get up... She tried to run to save her son... but, it was too late... she couldn't even move when the creature was already in front of Jaune

Jaune, on the other hand, saw the Lycanthrope move and thought it was cute that a cub would attack him... He knew adult Lycanthropes were troublesome, but, a small one?

Jaune would slice him to pieces for daring to hurt his family.

{My servant remember you are no longer a full vampire, ka, ka, ka}

A shocked expression fell on Jaune's face as he heard his shadow's voice and the creature's claws came at him... He tried to move and managed to take a step back faster than a human or Faunus could...

But... He didn't stop being hit by the creature's claws cutting his chest and he could only think

"Kiss-Shot, give me the power to kill this bastard"

{Ka,ka,ka. Welcome back to the underworld my servant... after this... You'll never be able to run away again, ka, ka, ka, ka, ka}

Jaune felt sinister energy entering his body and the wound made by the lycanthrope was partially healed leaving Jaune alive enough to grab the lycanthrope's paw and pull it towards him.

Jaune wasted no time and pulled out a silver knife and plunged it into the Lycanthrope's neck who roared desperately trying to get free of Jaune. Only to crash and fall to the ground turning into mist

{You're lucky, he hasn't taken human form yet ka, ka, ka, ka it would be fun to see him try to explain how a Grimm became a man or a woman, ka, ka, ka, ka}

Jaune unconsciously agreed with the voice and dropped to the ground on his knees.

"why, am I not healing?" he asked his mind breathing heavily as he struggled to keep himself upright.

Jaune's mind was blanked out at the laughter and he fell flat on his face unconscious. Blood started to spill on the floor making the scene even more graphic

"Jaune" Jeanne who finally managed to gather strength ran to Jaune to help him "My god, Jaune, what did you do?... what did you do?... Ahhhhhh... Jaune what did you do? Ahhhh" Jeanne cried in despair with her hands shaking as she hesitantly touched Jaune's face

"Jeanne" The sound of Sieg in the distance made Jeane's eyeshine once more

"Here, I'm here... Ahhh, I'm here... Save Jaune. Save my son... Ahhhh"
