The Gang Called A Society

Even the spiritual leader of the Beastkin couldn't properly 'lead' them without actually being there.

That's why he put this responsibility on someone else. He'd chosen someone he could put faith in.

Someone who loved her people as much as he did.

Yet also someone with the qualities of a leader.

A stunning woman with tanned skin allowed herself to be taken care of by her subjects at their home.

Her mouth down hidden by a transparent veil…

She looked like an Arabian goddess. Like a ruler being showered with attention by her servants.

Her tanned skin contrasted with her blonde hair exuding a sense of mystery about her existence.

All of the female attendants gladly giving affection.

With her 'flowerpot' covered by the waist fitted belt and skirt put together by long streaks of cloth.

Her legs were out for all to see while laying comfortably on a royal bed. Her eyes looking down.

She seemed to be in deep thought.

"Your Majesty…" One of the animalistic women serving her called out. Her long ears pointed high.

She was a common rabbit type Beastkin.

The bunny girl could only see the woman's toned silhouette through the thin drapes around the bed.

The 'queen' on it turned to look at the attendant.

"I'm sure you're feeling anxious." Was the first the powerful silhouette through the drapes sighed.

She knew exactly what the girl was thinking.

"N-not at all. We, your people, are only worried about Shane… Our beloved 'Hero of the Old'."

"Our beloved, you say." The woman springing herself upright revealed her cat-like features.

However, she wasn't the smaller type of feline.

One could assume from her figure that she was a tiger type Beastkin. Especially when she revealed herself in all her glory. Two lonely ripe mounds hung while being unbothered by ant garments.

Though the bunny girl didn't focus on that…

Red stripes like whip marks covered all over the woman's body. The externalisation of her own Gift.

This was a Semblance the bunny was familiar with.

"Velma, why can't I be your 'beloved'?" The woman crept up close and was about to go in for a hug.

Only to be turned down by her attendant.

"I'm not sure what you mean, 'Your Majesty'." A sense of distance appeared between the two.

It only made the woman's powerful figure falter.

She acted like she was pushed aside. Her rear falling on the bed, before she posed erotically.

It caused a twinge in the bunny girl's heart.

"Nyuara… Stop. You know I'm not… I mean, didn't you like him too? You're technically going out-"

"Don't even talk about that." Those masculine yet artistically crafted arms showed their open palms.

The situation wasn't one she was fond of.

"But…"

"I'm only a figurehead. There's already someone on his mind. A girl he will never stop his longing for…

…It's just like my feelings about YOU." Velma looked surprised as the woman crept closer.

Nyaura Cheshire was a person with great ambition and strength. Her Semblance similar to Shane's.

Before they came to this strange world, she was just a part of the resistance being lead by the slick samurai. Her battle records showing that she was better at taking on crowds compared to the latter.

In contrast, Velma Redhare back then was just a failed idol. Their fates couldn't be any different.

It was only when she too was ousted for her affiliation with Beastkin and appearance, did they initially meet. The bunny girl finding out that the tiger woman had always been her biggest fan.

Her admiration for her idol even leading the now official leader of the Beastkin to doll herself up.

How she looked now different from back then.

There were no more colourful makeup artistry or punk accessories. No more 'youth' in her looks.

Her figure had drastically changed from then too.

However, Velma could tell her good friend hadn't changed a bit. She was still that whimsical brat.

Still, she kept her stance on the matter:

"It's not because of him, but you already knew that.. didn't you?" She looked at her appearance.

Beautiful, yet hyper-fixated on being 'manly'.

As if she was trying to make an appeal to someone.

Even the veil covering her face was just to make her feminine red lips seem less obvious to others.

Is this why she was called here?

To be seduced by her current appearance?

Seeing that her plan failed, a redness appeared on her face before she grabbed the girl by the wrist.

Her grip stopping the bunny girl from escaping.

"I've loved you from the beginning…!"

"You know how I've felt about you from the beginning as well. What's gone into you today?"

"I'm lonely! Alright? Is that what you want to hear?!" Nyaura dragged her to sit on the bed.

Her words were fuelled by intense emotions, but she didn't seem willing to touch a hair on her head.

The woman knelt down and laid on her lap.

"Velma, I am your slave."

"Hey…"

"You can order me to bark like a dog or sing like a bird. I'll bear anything for you. I'd give you my all."

"Even if I'm asking you for nothing?"

"Why does it have to be like that!?" The tigress clung to the brunette with the eyes of longing.

Like her own beloved was so close, yet also so far.

Continuing while wiping her tears on Velma's lap:

"You don't even have to love me. Just stay by my side. I can't take this… Being the centre of attention. You're the only one who hadn't marked my body!" Nyaura pointed at her plump bosom.

The whip wound-like stripes glowing a shade of blood red when she started listing her 'marks':

"Look at how thick this stripe is. It's from my so-called 'aid'. The smaller one from my 'attendants'."

"And that one was from my guard. The thicker ones from the bastards eyeing my thrown and Shane."

"All of them are waiting for us to die…!"

"They'd celebrate… To think that we, people who pride ourselves for our unity, would try doing that."

"What's wrong with this world? You only came here because I grabbed onto you, but what of the rest?"

"There's only traitors, rascals, degenerates, fools, and creeps amongst the people summoned here."

"If it wasn't for Shane, I would have killed these bastards myself. I know what they're thinking!"

"I've always known their 'hate'!"

Nyaura's outburst was expected. Her power was amplified by the grudges people had towards her.

Her 'Grudge Bearer' Semblance was pretty good.

The only downside being that she'd constantly be plagued by the malice of those 'marking' her.

Different criticisms and curses mixed together:

"Why doesn't she step down?"

"I can't believe I have to listen to this bitch."

"Must be nice riding our hero's coattails."

"Screw her."

"Who does she think she is?"

"If I wasn't for the sake of peace, I'd be leading us."

"Hope she'd just die."

Each one of the stripes on her body represented another type of grudge, whether petty or not.

The fact that she had so many of them just went to show that no one truly accepted her in their hearts.

But this didn't make her want to abandon them.

After all, she truly did love her fellow Beastkin.

She hoped that the negative and worst types of people that were gathered here could change.

Her attendants had already shown great restraint by not showing their true feelings so obviously.

Now, she just wanted to erase their grudges.

Even though she had no way of doing that.

After all, no one would change just because she asked them. They needed to desire a change.

Without that, anything she said was useless.

And this hopelessness was what lead to this.

Bawling on the lap of the girl she loved while deliberating in whether killing them was right.

These bastards were a stain on her people…!

Especially when she heard the more perverted curses that affected her body. It shook her spine.

Making her want to castrate many of them.

Velma couldn't sit still after hearing her. It made her brunette hair stand on ends from intense feelings.

"We should tell Shane."

"Tell him?"

"Why… don't you think he could sort everything out. He found us a place away from those strange foreigners and is close to Royalty." These words caused the tiger woman to stop her mood swing.

Her white teeth shown along with helpless eyes.

"Hey… Do you know who made this one?" Nyaura showed her the area underneath her shapely tits.

She revealed a large 'stripe' unlike any other.

"…Who?" The bunny girl wanted to know how exactly this was relevant and who made it on her.

"Shane." The answer made Velma gape.

Astonishment filled her eyes. She couldn't believe that he'd have such a deep grudge against her.

"…What did you do?"

"I just limited your rivals. There was someone who needed advice, and I gave the best I could give."

"You… You were the reason 'she' left. Shane is only alone now because of you." Velma understood.

There was a girl Shane loved like no other, and that exact person left even before they 'ascended' here.

She had no idea why…

…until now.

"What's wrong with you?!" A tight slap was thrown right into that smug face, but it hadn't faltered.

Her smile widened as she exaggeratedly fell over.

"Aiiyaaa~ Are you getting rough now? Are we going to go rough~?" She had the eyes of a degenerate.

Maybe someone into sadism would like hitting a mostly naked partner, but Velma wasn't that type.

She merely raised her hand again to scold Nyaura.

However, the bunny girl stopped herself when she saw the woman was enjoying this weird situation.

Velma knelt over and helped the woman up, saying:

"'Your Majesty', I didn't need any help." Her tone were as cold as ice, which made the woman silent.

The bunny girl held her forehead in disarray. Her hair messy while wondering what should they do.

But the crazy 'queen' didn't stop there.

"Also, I can tell that he's injured right now. So we're on our own with these pessimistic bastards now."

These words were another headache, but one less shocking than how she earned the quiet man's ire.

Nyaura knew exactly what the girl was thinking.

She had no regrets on anything she'd ever fine.

The tigress stopped her pathetic act when she saw the woman she loved had no attention to give her.

Walking over to a nearby drawer, she pulled out a garment to wear. It was getting chilly all a sudden.

The glacial silence acted like stagnant water.

It was neither smart nor efficient for any of them.

Nyaura broke the silence: "I can tell I'd cross your bottom line if I do anything else. Sorry… for every-"

"Don't say things you don't mean." Velma had enough of her bothersome and petty personality.

"I'm at least trying here."

"If this is what you call 'trying'… don't."

"I wish you'd try to understand me here."

"Same." Their conversation went nowhere.

They were too prideful to admit defeat on any conceivable level. Their only point of similarity.

Both of them didn't discuss what to do next.

And how could they?

The bunny girl was clearly aware of the kind of person the tiger woman was. Even if a bit unstable.

She could have bouts of hysteric moments where she did some absurd acts, but always had a plan.

Rather than becoming meek in front of the hyena-like Beastkin waiting for her to fall, she doubled down on her act as a monarch among them. It might just be a neighbourhood worth of them, but was enough to establish an inner sense of society.

So long as they still stuck to the way things were handled in their world, she would never fall.

At least in front of these goofs, she was invincible.

That's why next day went by 'as usual'.

Even without the presence of their spiritual leader in the room, she had subdued the 'Beasts' present.

What she didn't expect was that some outsider would barge into her life to ask an absurd question:

"Greetings, would you two like to become prostitutes?" The man spoke with no ill-intent.

An act that would throw them for a loop…
