Solution

In an undeterminable timeline, Goldsun Loki was looking at the various futures possible in Pandora.

None of them had a happy ending to them.

Holy Progenitor lost in martial arts, even when he transformed back into the neigh invincible 'Simon Rainglow'. He was completely and utterly annihilated, with no hope of ever reincarnating.

Sebastian Pegasus was the same. He wasn't even given the chance to utilise his fill potential in battle.

Hyuk, Lucia, and even Adam had no chance against the true Demon King. He couldn't be felled.

A truly unbeatable existence…

Loki knew this was practically by design. It was because things had to align by certain rules.

'Consistency'…

Fire is supposed to be hot. Water is supposed to be wet. And the Demon Lord is unable to lose.

This was why he was so hard to deal with…

If there was a definitive ranking to the power level of all Earthlings, then the Demon Lord was at top.

He was the strongest to have ever ascended…

So how was Loki to deal with this pain the ass?

"Dead. Dead. Dead. More death. Oh, I think someone survived this ti- Nope, he's dead." The celestial trickster really needed to stop getting himself involved with Gaia. This task was too hard.

A nearly impossible hurdle…

Which is why he had no choice but to sit down with the two beings that could stop the big 'RESET'.

The literal embodiments of the concepts of space and time. Of clockwork and consistency in physics.

The ones who decided that time would forever move forward, and that physics were a thing.

'Lady Clockwork' and 'Lady Consistency'…

If trying to convince the person who decided who would die in a grandfather paradox was hard, then trying to convince the conceptual being that made the world consistent was even harder than that.

The only thing he could do was negotiate.

"I can't just let this play out how you want." After having heard Loki's ideas, Lady Consistency shook her head. Even if it was to fix a paradox, she couldn't cause greater flaws to arise in the system.

It was better to do the 'RESET' than allow a scheme that relied on inconsistent developments to unfold.

That was how she saw this situation.

But Loki wasn't going to give up. Since he couldn't make her stop being 'consistent' he another action.

"What if I fuse two 'backstories' together and twist the timeline a little more?" He asked the women.

The duo looked at each other in puzzlement.

"You DO know this is an even bigger stretch. This gamble… we'll have to take your life as collateral."

"These are the last things I'll do. I promise, things will make sense by the end even without you two."

Goldsun Loki was really trying his best here.

Trying to convince them about how to fix up the timeline without a 'RESET'. His face was sweating.

It was only after they nodded, did he let out a sigh and decide to go along with the plans he had.

The ability he'd kept a secret from others was allowed to be unsealed for only a certain duration.

Any more, and Lady Consistency would curse him.

Usually, he was only able to do minor changes in reality that didn't effect the overall state of events.

For example: If there was a warrior who never had kids and became peerless in their realm, he could easily switch their gender. This was because whether they were male or female didn't matter.

The only thing that mattered to Lady Consistency would be the impact their strength had on life.

And not about anything else.

Thus, when they had given him permission to use his full power… Loki fixed up two important things.

Back in the current timeline of events, Sebastian found a replica of his 'Spectre Medallion' in his room. There was no indication of who put it there or how Simon was still 'rendered' without it.

Loki watched this reaction from beyond the boundaries of space and time. Like a great titan.

His eyes looking down on Pandorica itself.

The Demon Lord who killed heroes couldn't be beaten by fists alone. It needed a finer detail.

To fight the most negative existence in the world, a purely positive existence must be pitted against it.

His eyes looked at two particular 'stories'.

One was of a kind princess who was ignorant to the reality of the kingdom, which allowed those gentle feelings to grow and expand. Her heart caring for every citizen, and heart becoming boundless.

One might consider her ignorance a fragility.

That under the slightest stress, the person showing that kindness would shatter and become jaded.

Losing their faith in others…

Loki knew that this princess was indeed that type of person… all from her history and unseen future.

She thought that small fixes like healing random strangers and sharing what she was privileged with was enough. Someone who was true to her role. A boring individual in the eyes of the spearman.

There was another boring individual just like her.

With the 'Sacred Prostitutes' of the Brothel Cathedral, the Saintess was certainly trained.

Her body being washed in Holy Water and being readied for the 'ceremony' of every generation.

The one where Nobles acquired their 'Nobility'.

She was the most unfortunate 'survivor' of the kingdom. Her mind inheriting memories of the Saintesses of previous generations. Being broken by the inheritance, but enduring it every time.

This was the heart of the 'Saintess'.

An enduring goodness that never had the chance to shine. Always unable to escape her unlucky fate.

A boring tragedy that Loki found needlessly sad.

He grabbed the figures of the 'Saintess of the Fist' and the 'Healing Princess', he fused their existence.

A boundless kindness was paired with an enduring patience. A plus added to a plus at that moment.

All to manufacture a 'Hero to save Heroes'.

Someone who could fight against their fate.

When he was done, Loki's existence itself started to fade from reality. Becoming collateral for this.

Betting himself on whether the future would alter.

Whether his actions would end the domino effect.

"Whelp, existence was overrated anyway." Was the last thing he spoke before fading out of reality.

No longer able to interfere with future events.

Eva blinked as she felt the fabric of reality had altered, but couldn't put her finger on what it was.

She'd told Hyuk everything. What happened and why… to the point of bringing up her new name.

All until she shared everything:

A silence created afterwards…

Hyuk was playfully clicking on his ballpoint pen. It was quite an interesting contraption they created.

Much better than the brushes he used in the past.

He was writing up notes after using 'Draining Technique' of demonic variant to siphon out the evil energy within Eva. It had been some time since she'd entered his room in such a haggard state.

His constant tapping made him seem angry, and he had every right to be after the incident before.

It hadn't even been that long since she came here earlier. Something ALREADY happened since then?

"I'm sorry…" Eva spoke to him first. She was wearing one of the dresses in his wardrobe.

A bit altered to suit her physique, but cute.

It was a servant dress he came up with using laces and soft materials. One with a long but open skirt.

She was even wearing the prototype underwear he'd created by researching various lingerie.

Ahem… For academic purposes, of course.

"What are you sorry for?" He turned his head to ask her curiously. His hand was one a sealed glass.

Within it was the 'Demon Essence' that had been drained out of her body. Using a draining touch.

"For stealing your stuff."

"Puh-leeease~! I don't care about that. If you had a good time with them, losing my stuff was worth it."

"Sorry…"

"You've been repeating that for a while now. Are you also sorry you didn't invite me?" Hyuk smiled.

"…That's not what I meant." Eva turned her head.

Her hands modestly rested on her stomach, and was unable to stop herself from feeling really bad.

"I'm serious. If you were going to go full Netorare, I wanted to be the one to do it. What's this about a Succubus crawling in your bed…? I mean, even more a reason to invite me!" He pointed at himself.

"I… didn't want to do it."

*SLAM*

The notepad dropped heavily, causing quite a scare. Hyuk looked like she said a forbidden word.

"Did someone force you?" She didn't know when his sword appeared, but he was ready to draw it.

All to chop off the dick of whoever did this.

"T-that's not what I meant!" Her words put out the fire in his heart, and he coughed in response:

"Ahem… So what DID you mean."

"That person… was irresistible…"

"Introduce me." Hyuk wanted to meet them.

"…I'm not joking here."

"Same. So how are you planning on telling him about this? He might get mad, but will get over it."

"That's not something for you to decide." Eva couldn't possibly tell Adam. It was too much.

"Then are you planning to never tell him?"

"A secret that isn't spoken, stays hidden." The elf girl shifted her eyes and avoided responsibility.

"Whatever. Just don't be a dick."

"Hey…!" She felt offended by this. Who was he to call her that? He'd been eyeing her since they met.

"Sorry, that wasn't feminist enough. What I meant to say was… don't be a cunt." He grinned at her.

"Hyuk Kang…!"

"It's pronounced 'Kang Hyuk'. Surname first."

"I'm trying my best here."

"Everyone is always trying their best without me. Is it too much to ask to give me a bed call at night?"

"Stop trying to tease me."

"But I'm not though…?" Hyuk was actually serious about being hurt by not inviting him for the NTR.

He couldn't believe a rando cuckholded his friend.

It would've been better if he did that instead.

"…Anyway, I just couldn't resist. It felt like it was natural to me. Like some kind of instinct." Her face fell again. She couldn't figure out why her body acted on its own. Why she was uncontrollable.

"Oh yeah, there were legends about Demons in my world as well. It's said the art of 'Plucking Yin For Yang' was started by an Incubus. That's why those who practice Demonic Arts start to lose sanity."

"…" Eva wasn't interested in it. She took a deep breath after a long silence before speaking up.

Her face was serious while asking about her medical condition. Whether she had a… 'that'.

Hyuk also got serious at that point.

He could only be honest with her about it.

Corruption… That was the main trait of a Demon. It normally meant that she would've certainly been impregnated, but the egg cell embryo got out with only minor contamination from the 'Essence'.

Perhaps thanks to her genes being closer to the long-living Elf Race, it was harder to get pregnant.

Even if a Succubus was planting his seeds…

But the main thing that caused her to feel lost was what he ended at. That the pollution was perfect.

Even the holiest energy wouldn't be able to cleanse the embryo anymore. It will become part Demon.

Whether wanted the child to be or not.

The embryos innate demonic nature had been influenced by whatever Succubus partner she had.

There was no going back.

'What am I to do?' Eva couldn't tell Adam.

Hyuk agreed on staying silent about this until she was willing to tell him herself. There were many thoughts going through her head. She wanted to fully 'clean' her insides with Adam's own fluids.

Her eyes were lost when she exited the room.

"…What's wrong?" Someone had been waiting for her in the corridor, which caused her to gulp.

Her eyes were blinking.

"Nothing." Eva didn't tell him anything. There was no way she could reveal the events that transpired.

Not even in her death.

When she saw the scar on his face and handsome features, she unconsciously reached out for him.

Touching that matured face…

"You sure aren't hiding it." Adam flicked her hand off, then heard her while diving into his embrace:

"Please make me yours." Eva's overwhelming feelings were too deep for him to handle right now.

"No." His unconscious response made her widen those beautiful eyes. Unable to believe his words.

"Why not?"

"Firstly, didn't I say we will never do that?"

"…And secondly…?" Eva lowered her eyes.

"You just had a traumatic experience not too long ago. Now isn't the time to bone." He showed a rare amount of common sense she couldn't really argue with. There was no way to reject those words.

"And so…?"

"Want to play games?"

"…What?" She felt confused when he put a controller in her hands. He made his point:

"I'm not a good talker, so let me be more genuine this way. Come on. Let's go." Adam lead the elf girl downstairs without noticing her change of clothes that much. His mind was only on the games.

She sat on the sofa with him, and held a controller in her hand. The gamer turned on his console.

Finding more comfort in gaming then having sex.
