Cravings

After an afternoon nap, Adam got up and stretched his body. His mood soared at this specific time…

…until he checked the messages in his 'Inbox'.

There, he learnt that about four other people had taken his 'Game Genres'. Their names all up top.

Along with their names, MP and HP bars…

Everyone seemed to be okay, so he didn't click on them to invade personal space. Leaving it as is.

[System Skill: 'Party Formation' is now active.]

[You can view the Skills and Stats of your Party Members at any time. They can do the same.]

[Taboo System has expanded its parameters.]

[It is suggested to not go into combat for the time being. Doing so may put strain on the user.]

[Software update in progress…]

Seeing that the Taboo System had been quiet for now (after showing him an excruciatingly slow progress bar), Adam decided not to do anything that could cause any potential harm to himself.

Meh, he didn't need it.

Maybe this would have caused him concern about it before, but he was now confident in his team.

These 'Party Members' would definitely protect him. Hopefully, they wouldn't force anything.

Or else he'd lose faith in humanity and people.

Adam stretched his body. He felt like his joints had become a bit more flexible compared to before.

His artificially-formed tail was wagging around.

Adam moved around like zombie. His arms were always stretched out and his steps being light.

He was gradually getting used to not being able to see. His other senses were gradually heightening.

Perhaps because he was part wolf now, his sense of smell was the central point of his new 'vision'.

Humans tended to see the world with their eyes first, but Adam was now distinguishing the world via smell. Although this didn't really help his spatial awareness, it allowed him to better identify objects.

As well as the condition of other human beings.

But losing his spatial recognition was still a pain.

His memory wasn't the greatest, so trying to figure out the world based on that wasn't really reliable.

…So should he go downstairs and socialise a bit?

Maybe talk to Lucia or Sebastian about something.

Anything…

Maybe games…?

'Nope.' Adam put that thought aside. There were no appropriate genres to play with on that thing.

They'd already took some of his System's genres themselves anyway. There was no point anymore.

It was better to let them do their thing.

Adam returned to the bed, but he felt more at solace knowing that he could reach out anytime.

That he wasn't alone…

Ironically, knowing that he could talk anytime made him feel a lazier. He pressed on the System.

Typing in: {Tell me when you're going. I'll see you off.} Then sending that message straight to Hyuk.

'Hmm?' Adam realised there was a message for him too. It was from Lucia, who was with her mum.

{That pointy-eared person from before took my mother somewhere. I don't know where they are.}

{Don't worry about it. They're probably talking to each other someplace else.} He replied to the text.

It would be too much effort to get off his rear and check on them. So he decided to leave it alone.

Eva didn't seem like she'd harm anyone anyway.

He'd screw her up if she ever did so.

Now… It was time to sleep some more.

Even if he wasn't exactly feeling tired.

"Actually, didn't she learn fast?" Maybe Gaia Humans saw something similar or something.

"Hah…" Adam yawned.

He felt so tired. Incomplete. This feeling had only been growing after having lost his Heart Devil.

With no fears scaring him, he had no direction to push forward. Whether that be for this or that.

Post-nut clarity was also sinking in while looking at a new type of Skill that he'd unlocked by 'drinking'.

[Consumable Skill: Compressed Vitality x99]

'Kill me…' He joked on the inside, but then remembered an important point from earlier.

"I'm going to die…" Is what he would have said to himself in a dark tone. Accepting mortality.

But now was different.

After having defeated a Sword Goddess (to a certain extent), he could now say with a laugh:

"I'm going to die~~~!!!" His emotion made him rise from his sunken position and strike a victory pose.

Yeah, life was about dying.

TIME WAS OF THE ESSENCE.

There was only so much he could do in the limited time of a human lifespan. Needing to work himself.

But what to do…?

Adam felt like he could move mountains and bend rivers, but would it be gratifying to do any of that?

He didn't see the point in uselessly changing the world, nor attempting to be more than who he was.

His only promise was to live and die, so he had no responsibility to change himself for the better.

Or even try to live what others call 'fulfilled lives'.

Salvation was too far for someone like him.

He'd never understood affection even after having been given it for years. Being just a useless twat.

He hated his incompetence…

Truly, what more fitting to call it other than that. To have what he desired, but losing it just as easily.

No, he shouldn't beat himself over it.

'This is fine too…' He thought while looking out the window. His eyes seeing the scenery around him.

'Should I go adventuring?' Since there was an adventurer's guild in town, it should work fine.

Wasn't that the formula?

But he needed to deactivate his Pure Wolf Sword Physique first. His ears and tail were too much.

Eva's ears can be waved off as a genetic disorder due to the lack of exposure to elves, but his clear animalistic features would tick them off. Adam sat in one place and focused on his Taboo System.

[Passive Skill is now deactivated…]

'That was all it took…!' His eyes widened when he suddenly felt the extra appendages slowly vanish.

The Pure Mana that extended out went back into his untapped potential, rather than his small…

…what he'd like to call: 'Pure Centre'.

But going from untapped to imprisoning his own unleashed strength made him feel his body sway.

He sat on his bed, then looked at his stats.

[Power Tier= S > A (Common)

Agility Tier= S > A (Rare)

Speed Tier= A+ > B+ (Common)

Defence Tier= B > C (Common)

Magic Tier= F (Common)

Combat Prowess= ??? (Unknown)]

Since his Magic Tier was directly related to the type of sources he had when it came to energy, it wasn't dropped at all. However, all his physical traits seemed directly linked to his new Physique.

Others would have been disappointed, but Adam looked at his stats and saw it was fairly balanced.

Power Tier= A (Common)

Agility Tier= A (Rare)

Speed Tier= B+ (Common)

Defence Tier= C (Common)

Magic Tier= F (Common)

Combat Prowess= ??? (Unknown)]

Agility and Power were still at the peak human limits. Speed was only a silver away from top tier.

Defence was naturally lower than the other stats regardless of who you were. Unless one had the reptilian scales of a dragon, they would be pressed to defend themselves compared to attacking.

Everyone was like that…

That was to say that dragons were on a different league of their own. After all, Stats didn't mean everything. Just like how the Defence Tier didn't actually mean that solely 'defence' was improved.

After all, the more solid the fist, the easier it was to throw without caring if they'd injure themselves.

It was like how boxers actually punched harder when they thought their hands would be protected.

That kind of thing…

"Right… Now to get going." Since he decided what he'd do today, Adam went and got things done.

There was just one thing left on his mind…

Was it the fact Lucia reached out to him?

No way.

'The condoms are useless now.' He looked at his average length dong and thought this to himself.

Only then did he think:

'Maybe I should check out what happened with Eva recently.' Adam sent her a message, but she was quiet. Unusually so… It's hard to imagine Eva would ignore him. Not answering him back at all.

His eyes started to narrow…

There were a lot of times he found this elf girl to be… annoying. Even if she offered up her body.

This was one of those rare occasions.

He got off his bed and made his way to the corridors. Getting used to his now lowered senses.

Since he'd already had a path, it was easy to use his spatial awareness to fill out the gaps in 'vision'.

He noticed the footsteps of someone in front.

"Who is it? Name yourself." Adam spoke.

The footsteps stopped before him. He didn't retain a detailed enough smell to comprehend who it was.

Only understanding when she spoke: "I-It's me…"

"Eva?" Adam found her slight stutter to be a little unlike the person he knew, if only for a little while.

"Y-yes…?" It was a natural stutter that seemed like something she was used to, but with Eva's voice.

This caused him to swallow…

"Did you get my message?"

"…" She didn't answer him, but he could tell she shook her head. Her hands holding onto her skirt.

Was she afraid of him…?

He hadn't done anything though, so what was the point of this act now? Was she coming onto him?

…Or was this her guilt?

"Did you REALLY send her home properly?" Adam narrowed his eyes. He stepped in real close.

To the point her face was just an inch away from his own. It gave her discomfort, and he knew it.

"Y-yes." There was less of a stutter in her voice.

However, he found himself unable to trust her.

He pulled out his communication tool and pressed a few buttons. Showing great understanding of the tech despite being unable to see the screen. His fingers typing and submitting a few things, until…

"Hello?" An speaker-like device and microphone turned that communication tool into a phone.

Adam was the first to speak to the person on the other side. That woman acted a little hesitant.

"Yes…?" Her feminine voice was heard.

"Is this the Arcadia Household?"

"You don't need to act so formal with me. We met each other not too long ago, after all." Clara, the person on the other side of the line, spoke as if she hadn't returned first after being injured by him.

"Oh, so is Lucia's mother there with you?"

"She's my mother too."

"Don't beat things around."

"Alright. Yes. She is-"

*Ting* He cut the line. Not having much to say to the woman if everything was all well and good.

But his suspicious eyes still glared at the person in front of him. Was she really the elf girl he knew?"

Adam grabbed her by the waist and plastered her body onto his own. Her heartbeat started beating.

Like incredibly violent drums.

The gamer could hear it all clearly.

He touched her ears, and found that they were indeed the same as they were from before.

Her clothes were different, but it wasn't like he knew her taste well enough to judge her fashion.

The only thing he found amusing was that she didn't act like a whore as soon as he touched.

There was a slight rejection- No, it was more accurate to say her submissive act was less fuelled by lust. Less heavy. To the point that he somehow felt more comfortable with her than he did before.

She was acting like a normal human being…

Not secretly trying to pull down his pants and drag him inside her, but much more tame and subdued.

Adam licked his lips.

He embraced her with every fibre of his being. An act that made her wriggle inside his arms cutely.

Then took a strong whiff of her scent, and found a familiar 'minty' sensation assault him once again.

Her body was definitely the same as before.

Measurements, depth and width of each crease in her skin. All the way to the ones on her rear.

Thanks to the disgustingly high amount of physical information he took from her, he was more certain.

She was definitely Eva.

So why was her attitude a little different?

Was this just an act?

Rather than asking those questions, he licked his lips. He started to be swayed by his cravings.

A desire for satisfaction…

He found it uncomfortable the type of clothes she wore wasn't easily stripped despite its beauty.

"Follow me." He turned, and Eva looked a bit hesitant when seeing his back at that moment.

But she eventually caught up.

The both of them knew without words what he was going to do. She didn't resist the flow of events.

Biting her lower lip secretly…
